Before you get the expensive mufflers, try removing the stock ones. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Renntech sells an OBD2 lowering module for the GLS but it is expensive.
Is this the one on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/Mercedes-Benz...r=8-1-fkmrnull

The link you you posted is the one I am considering. $450 not bad at all!

Give the muffler delete a try and I'd bet you will be happy. There is very little cost there and you may like it enough that you won't buy the aftermarket mufflers. Remember, it's a turbo so it won't be loud until you get on it or at startup. My 63 is loud as heck at startup and it is totally stock. It's not as loud as my 600 with down-pipes, full exhaust, and no mufflers or resonators.

Anyone got a pic of the rear mufflers being referred to for deletion?
Also, anyone here actually have a burble tune from one of the tuners? I find the GLS in Sport+ is MUCH quieter than the GLE S we just had, which was a BEAST (factory) in Sport+ mode. By far the loudest and nicest sounding OEM AMG exhaust I've heard.

Do you mind sharing what kind of discount you got on the truck and best of luck with it.

Just hit 10k miles and had the rear brake pads replaced already. Good thing I got the term care maintenance plan!

Hello MBWorld,
Good to be back in the AMG game! Just picked up a 2019 Diamond White GLS63 AMG and am loving every minute of it! I had to baby it for the first 1k miles in Comfort Mode and keep it under 4500rpm. It was hell! But now that I'm done with the break in period I have been applying more throttle and revs in Sport and Sport +. I believe these cars have an adaptation phase in the first 1k miles to learn your driving but I'm not sure. Im at around 1400 miles now and the car just keeps getting faster and more responsive! It just shocks me that such a big car that seats 7 people can accelerate like it does. To me this car has no competitors because it can seat 7 reasonably and run 12s in the quarter mile.
The differences between the drive modes are very noticeable. If you are in stop and go traffic, the transmission gets fidgety in Sport +, so I mainly use Sport in slower traffic. Comfort Mode is very laid back and smooth which is good for long trips.
I ordered BMC Air Filters for the GLS63. Anyone have any good experiences with these air filters?
I'm sure with a Renntech Tune and Capristo Exhaust this car can come to life as a beast and maybe even runs 11s. Maybe. Cant wait! Anyone know of any other exhausts made for the GLS63? Also, is Renntech the best choice for a tune on this platform?
Look forward to making some power with this AMG! Glad to be on here again as MbWorld has served as a great source of information about our AMGs.

Turn off all the lane assist and use distronic cruise sparingly. Same here, 9000 miles and rear brakes are at 4 out of 12. Waiting til light comes on to change.

Good afternoon. Congratulations On your purchase of the car. Many owners still advise you to install a protective mesh behind the grille in front of the radiator, to protect against stones and midges. And also complain that in bad weather, dirt splashes the footboard of the car and strongly sandblast the front doors. It's a shame when you wash the car and it becomes dirty immediately after washing. Perhaps this solution will be useful to you.
