BMC Air Filter Change *Skeptical*
I recently ordered BMC Air Filters for the GLS63 but now I am having second thoughts. I’ve read people having idle issues with them and to me it’s not worth the hassle and risk just for 5hp. What are your thoughts?

No problem with mine done about 6k miles now, love them felt a very minor benefit in pick up at first and can certainly hear the filters letting a bit more air through when stood next to it and its idling

Running BMC filters in both AMGs (E63s and GL63) for two years now with no issues. Also have the UPD spacers installed.

I decided not to risk it and some horror stories of bmc filters on forums of them disintegrating and causing issues. I haven’t heard one issue on oem filters.
Tuning gives enough hp for me.
