Has anybody had any experience with the OBD2 tuning kit? Would like to hear any feedback on the product.

I did not think you could tune though the OBD2 on Mercedes like you can on VW/Audi. If it works that would be great and make life for MB tuners much easier.

I just took delivery of a gas GLC. After driving any number of diesels my mpg took a big hit. I was getting 24mpg city and 47mpg highway or more on my E250.
I kept seeing plug/play OBD2 tuning chips on eBay for $10. Didn't trust. Then I saw some more sophisticated ones in the $100 plus range but they were coming from Poland (nothing against Poland). Living in the US returning, if I didn't like could be a hassle. Plus they were setup to your specific car.
I came across a US built unit. Easy to return (for me). They have 2 units one that you cut or tap into the OBD2 wiring (not interested in cutting wires). The second one was plugged into the port. Before that happens you run their software (no Mac) and program the chip to your car. My GLC is a 2017 but the 2016 motor is exactly the same as the 2016. I am not really interested in more power, just better mpg. The program give you 3 choices mpg, power or a mix. I set it up for mpg. They said it would take about 120 miles to learn your driving habits. But I saw a difference right away. I took a 30 mile drive at 68+/- as I got off the highway it turned 35mpg. On the trip back I unplugged the unit and got 29mpg. City I was around 16mpg with the unit 20.
By the way the GLC is leased. It calls for premium gas, I'm a little cheap so I am running regular at a difference price of around 25 cents/gal. The car runs just fine.
The name of the company is Volo Performance Inc. There are 2 web sites. This one is their main site. http://voloperformance.com/vp12-performance-ch12.html. You will not find the VP15 on this site it is on https://volo-performance-inc.myshopify.com/ (Not sure why there are 2 different sites). This site lists all the cars. GLA's are listed.
I am not affiliated with company in any way. Just like the product SO FAR. I have had 2 minor issues. The cable supplied to connect the unit to the PC was defective. Just switched out my phone cord and was connected. The other for some reason the driver wizard "fails". The software loads and runs fine. Think it is just my PC.
