The irony. I saw one today in black and was impressed. I don't like the CLA but this car is very intriguing. Seeing the specs, this is a cool hatch very cool.

Mine 45 is a daily driver, 75 miles 5 day per week, with rebellion stage one , down pipe, air intake.
75 % highway. 27 mpg, but driving mostly aco mode and ez on it, not hard, unless something comes up.
no complain.

Yes, it could be. I drive mine in comfort mode quite a bit, and happy with the power to mileage ratio - we see 28+ on the highway with a load, A/C on, going "the speed limit" .
I have the sport suspension and it's not that bad, or, maybe I've gotten used to it. It's on the smaller side, nimble, lighting quick, fun as he!! to drive. Half the time I end up in the GL because my wife has taken it - she loves it.
One quibble - 185 skis in the bag come all the way to the gearshift, LOL. The big toybox on top of the car looks ridiculous too.
So yeah, it very well could be the ultimate daily driver. Good thesis .

Came back to this thread to possibly utter blasphemy - we got a big boy E63s Wagon - 2016 so the last of the M157s - and it is truly an elegant beast. Love it. But . . . and here comes the blasphemy - it's heavy and you feel it around town, doing the 90% grocery getting style driving you do in a daily driver. Love to sneak out on the highway to kick down in Sport or higher mode, briefly, because that can take you outside the speed limit instantly.
The GLA, to me, is simply a more fun around town car. Smaller, more nimble, feels quicker, different driving experience. And the 2016's are really getting into great deal mode, IMO.
