No pops crackles on 2018 GLA45??
Silly question by a new owner: I test drove a 2015 before buying my current 2018 GLA45 that had lots of pops and crackles, e.g. when getting of the gas suddenly after WOT. My recently bought 2018 (no sport exhaust) doesn't do that at all. One pop on hard up or down shift thats it. Is that normal? Related to not having the sport exhaust? Did they damp down this when they did the facelift ? Otherwise love the car, its awesome!

Scan the vehicle to see if a soft code is stored, that could contribute to it. As the pops are controlled by the ECU by retarded timing, it won't do that if it doesn't feel safe to do so, like a soft code is stored for example.
