Daily Driver Opinions

I'm considering either a GLA 250 or 45 AMG.... really wish there was something 'in-between'. Would love the extra power/handling of the AMG but this would be a daily driver and I've read some reviews that suggest that it's stiff, exhaust pops/crackles... all cool but as this would be shared with the wife and we will be taking some fairly long trips (need comfortable) so I'd like to have more of a stealth sleeper then flashy showoff. Previously I had a 2006 Porsche Cayman S and was able to configure it nicely for both, selected wheels/tires that would be a bit more forgiving as well as the adaptive suspension that in 'comfort' plus engine in 'sport' was the perfect combination. Any thoughts? Experiences? Thanks/

Macan is the answer for you.

250 is **** vs. 45 huge difference.
i drove 250 as a loaner and will never get one.

there will be a A35 coming, I assume a GLA35 as well in the next couple years

Get the GLA45...its a riot.. gets decent mileage and is fun.. motortrend did GLA45 vs Macan turbo...GLA45 was the clear winner..

Honestly.. get a GLC300 or 43

GLC43 maybe? Not big but not small either. Not tons of space but not as small as a GLA. Not fast but not slow.
