Anyone experiencing issus withe the ebrake?
Hi
A while back I started noticing some vibration from the rear that had me convinced I had a slightly warped rear rotor. I too suffer from the rattles, and as this didn't seem all that nasty a problem I figured I'd live with it until first service. But the other day, I was out for a few hours and all of a sudden, if I let off the gas it was as if someone was gently applying the brake. Pulled over to the side of the road. Put the car in neutral, back to D and everything was fine. A day or two latter, I was parked, got in the car, put in D, punch, punch to M, press the accelerator and the car wont go. Clearly the ebrake was still set although I was clearly in D with the P light off. This, I shut the car off, restarted and, no problem, car moved out fine. Certainly sems like another reason to hate those friggin things.
Did a search on ebrake problems, but found nothing in this forum. Anyone else experienced anything like this?
