UK GLB new owner
Hello all.
Just bought a new 22 GLB 1.3
Very, very happy with the drive and quality (we had an Evoque previously and this is way better).
We could only afford the base model (so we get the smaller screens).
Annoyingly there is no Apple Car Play with it which is proving frustrating as my wife uses Waze on every trip as her journey frequently gets hold ups.
We spoke to Mercedes UK who quoted us £300 to activate, which seems very expensive for something that is effectively just an 'on' switch in software.
We also were interested in finding out if we can get an illuminated Mercedes front emblem (no radar cruise so that should be OK?)

You can also upgrade your screens. I saw UK prices around £750 for that.

You can install illuminated star yourself or have dealer do it for your. As long as you do not have driver assist package you can install the star. There are OEM and After Market options out there. There is thread on this forum on how to do it.

Maybe RJAutomotive could help with the Apple Car Play activation. They are located in the UK and do coding for MBUX vehicles.
