Good info, thanks.

Thanks for posting those PDFs. This forum is surprisingly lacking in useful information so far.

Between the press release and the ordering guide for Canada, it doesn't look like the US will be getting any of the EXCLUSIVE interior trims that are available everywhere else. If so, that's disappointing. I really had my heart set on the "ARTICO man-made leather/Grenoble fabric in espresso brown/black" interior. Nor does it look like we will be getting as many wheel options. (It looks like MB offers 16 wheel choices in other markets. US/CA gets a measly 3 choices. WTF?)

Does anyone know if the US ordering guide will be significantly different from the Canadian one?

I'm surprised how little talk of this model there is anywhere on the web. Certainly doesn't sound like people are lined up to get one. I'm very interested but have also been watching the Tesla Model X info come out and though it will cost a fair amount more, I'm seriously considering it. I drove the Model S and oh what fun!

Thanks to the OP for the informative post...I too wonder how different the US specs/options will differ.

Re model X, the news last night reported that it will cost between $120,000 and $140,000, so in a different class than the GLC. Maybe get two GLCs for the money?

That's the high-end all bells and whistles version. The news outlets are doing a poor job getting their facts straight. Elon tweeted that the X will run about $5k more than en equivalent S model. Still more than the GLC but the fun factor is worth it IMO plus figure in the $7500 tax credit and gas savings.
