Well I just discovered that when they were prepping the car they ran the buffer on the headlight and scratched and melted it slightly causing dips in the surface. I pity the dealership tomorrow.

Still think its insane Mercedes has no official online system to track your car......

BMW lets you see YOUR car getting the windshield installed at the factory, but I have to keep bothering a sales guy to find out where my car is.

Mine just left Panama hour ago and finally on its way to Long Beach. Should take a week to get there.

As for the tracking system, I did hear an Exec at Mercedes say they do plan to have that in future where people can track their orders without having to have the dealer do it for you. How far into the future, who knows.

Our GLC was released to the carrier on 3/25 and should be at the dealer any day now. Hope to pick it up Saturday. FWIW the dealer said they had many GLCs delayed due to software updates.

MOL site is now showing into Baltimore 4/9 8am and into Brunswick 4/12 8am. I don't believe they update their info too often though. Vessel tracking sites are showing into Baltimore 4/8 11am. Not sure who to believe, but at least they're finally headed toward us!

I would defer to the MOL site especially if it's a later date. I been tracking my ship on their site and their site was the first to push my date back 1 day which eventually the vessel sites updated when it was on its way to my destination.. The ETA changed to what MOL had.

It was really tough to build this car. First thing that happened was dealer told me that MB had just ended orders for 2016, so we had to go find one in Red and Beige with an interior package at another dealer and trade for it; apparently you could not order one new with an Interior Package unless it was originally ordered that way. That combo is pretty rare and apparently red is suddenly very popular. Once we had one in Red Beige leather we could tweak pretty much everything else option wise.

Took the car back to the Dealership today and they fixed the headlight. Beautiful. Now I am working on the Acoustic Glass issue.

They just called and said they are ordering the glass and will install it. YEAH!!!

The saleman did not say and not really sure he knows. I doubt it's any new feature. I will try to find out Sat. when I pick up our GLC which is now at the dealer!

I had a build date of Mar 16th, got a note today from the SA indicating our GLC is on a vessel that is scheduled to hit the port of Long Beach on April 30th. The car should be at the dealership within the first 10 days of May.

Jeva- feel like something odd is going on with your order.

Yeah, the SA sent me a note yesterday saying his boss is "checking with Germany" and they'll get back with me "by the 1st of next week". Honestly, I'm almost ready to just walk at this point. The biggest reason I haven't is that I had to put down a $2k deposit because I loaded the car out @~$65k so they felt it might be tough to move if I bailed but the way they are selling I doubt it would be hard at all. I'm sure it would be a battle to get my deposit back. Since I never had an actual promise date (just a verbal late March), I don't have an objective argument. If they come back and say x and it'll be another 3 weeks before it ships I'm totally bailing.

Not a good first experience with MB and I haven't even gotten the car yet.
