All Weather Floor Mats?

Has anyone purchased any yet? Recommendations?

Thanks!

sblvro 02-15-2016 11:44 PM

Weathertec mats better than oem.

Thanks!

I have the MB all weather mats. They are perfect.

That said, the Weather Tech mats are a great product. Made in the USA.

My preference is for oem accessories. Suggest you look at both and make your own decision.

I don't believe you can go wrong with either one. :y

Doesn't look like they make them for the GLC yet.

Recall someone queried WeatherTech about GLC mats and the response was they were gearing up for production. So, as Joe posted earlier, not yet available.

You could ask WeatherTech when they will be available

larrypmyers 02-16-2016 08:22 PM

And as I posted earlier I have the available MB mats and am very pleased.

Mac4 02-17-2016 04:39 PM

Larry-

Did you order the MB mats for your GLC? Or did you purchase @ your dealership?

JEVA 02-17-2016 05:29 PM

I'm going to ask the dealer to throw them in for free :)

Ordered and bought from the dealer.

JEVA 03-22-2016 10:37 PM

FYI - looks like Weathertech is starting to get stuff for the GLC. Only all weather mats for the front (no rear, weird) or the trunk (other than universal trim to fit).

dieseldoc 03-22-2016 10:40 PM

Thanks!!! I got the cargo mat. It is really nice. I have not gotten the floor mats yet.

doctor4kydz 03-23-2016 07:59 AM

After someone on this forum suggested it, I asked the dealer to throw them in for free! They're really nice and loook great in the front and the back.

07SGT 04-04-2016 05:23 PM

Weather Tech has approved the cargo mat and will be shipping shortly. I was also apprised the rear floor mats will also be approved shortly and will also be shipping shortly. I ordered the front mats and the rear cargo mat today.

07SGT 04-10-2016 09:29 PM

Received my weather tech front floor mats on Thursday and the cargo mat on Saturday. Awaiting the rear seat mats.

JEVA 04-10-2016 11:10 PM

How'd they look?

07SGT 04-11-2016 08:07 PM

I am satisfied. Look like a quality product. I took out the carpeted floor mats and will save them for when I trade the vehicle in someday. That way they will still look like new. I also put a cheap carpeted floor mat over the weather tech's to protect them so they will not be scuffed or worn and detract from their appearance when it is time to re-sell or trade in.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.........but I don't think I would want leather floor mats, especially in a climate with snow, ice, road salt, etc.

AutoPreme waterproof PremeLeather allows you to use the mats in any weather condition such as heavy rain or snow. Also, the oil resistant, scratch-proof and acid proof ability allows you to use the mats in areas with harsh winters and salted roads.

weather tech mats

they are ok... think I prefer the carpet and will use these in winter. dealer gave me extra set of carpet mats. not fan of the weather tech logo, but thy do fit well. Also bought the cargo mat which is fine, but you need to pull it out to open storage compartment due to the tight fit.

I just got the OEM all-weather mats for front, rear, and cargo over the weekend and LOVE them. It's been raining a lot in Virginia this spring, so I have a feeling these will probably never alternate between the mats that came with the car. I considered the WeatherTechs but the rear row mats weren't available and with 2 kids in the back, I couldn't wait. Really happy with the OEM mats!

JEVA 05-10-2016 08:31 AM

I sprayed the carpeted mats and cargo area carpet with a nice coating of Scotchguard as soon as I got the car to protect them from the wet/stains (even though they are black). Once winter comes, I'll throw in the all-weather mats. The white trim on the carpeted mats look too nice not to use.

I just checked my carpet mats and they don't have white trim. You must've gotten an upgraded interior package? But you're right, I shouldn't let the carpet mats go to waste either. Maybe after this rain we keep getting in the DC area finally lets up, I'll place the carpet mats back in for the summer.

JEVA 05-11-2016 10:41 AM

Yes, I have the designo white interior

ble2716 11-16-2016 12:51 PM

For those still interested in Weathertec floor mat.
I've got these just in time before the snow starts to fall.
The part number is PBQ6020464.
The front ones have the buttons that click to floor's carpet.
The rear one covers over the hump, which is really good as my kids tend to step on that hump all the time.

https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...bed430a132.jpg

aaronpatrick01 11-16-2016 03:45 PM

Are these direct from Weathertec? Reason I asked is last time I ordered one from them (for the CLA class), the logos show weathertec and not Mercedes, like the one you have.

ble2716 11-16-2016 07:36 PM

I've got these from MB dealer.
I do not know how much they cost.
The part number provided above is MB's part number.

zhenyaf 11-17-2016 08:50 AM

Anyway to find out if these fit the GLC coupe?

stevo.k 11-17-2016 09:26 PM

Autopreme mats

I received my Autopreme mats just before taking delivery of my GLC43. I have the Designo leather seats and the Autopreme mats compliment them perfectly. Fit is very very good.

^ Way to derail the guys thread.

You can get similar ones on adiguardusa.com for less.

I thought the thread s about all weather mats. My 2nd post and you jump all over me???? I*'m outta here.

It looks nice, especially if you have Designo leather seats.

How do they hold up in winter? Do they absorb water ?
Are they slippery at all ?

larrypmyers 11-22-2016 08:30 PM

With those floor mats I would require anyone prior to getting in my M-B to remove their shoes. :D

Adi-Benz 11-24-2016 09:17 PM

No worries dude didn't mean to come off that bad.

Welcome to the forums.

Was just saying that the ones from AdiGuard are similar but cheaper. Plus they have different styles. They look great with your interior.

They are pretty high quality and hold up very well, even in the winter with all the salt and slush. So no problems there.

Plus theres a sale going on too. You might consider that.

Help please. Im in the US. I was ready to order the WeatherTec mats for the GLC43 that I have on order when I came across your post. These look great and I prefer the MB logos to the WeatherTec. Having said that, the parts dept. at my dealer can't do anything with the part # that you provided, Canada only? They came back with 2 part numbers: 253-680-43-01-9G33 & 253-680-38-03-9G33. They tell me its the same but I am not buying. I am pretty sure those part #'s are for their "simple" rubber mats with the 1st part # for the front and the 2nd part # for the back. Also, the price, a total list of $115 seems too low. Anybody have any knowledge of these mats in the US? Part #? Am I correct about the assumption that I am making on the part numbers provided me by the dealer? Otherwise, are you shipping from CA?

sblvro 12-16-2016 09:56 AM

I also wanted the MB brand all weather mat but after getting the weather tech ones, they're actually better. The same thing can be said for my Range Rover oem all weather mat. Weather tech all the way.

edofloat 12-16-2016 06:59 PM

My dealer ordered me the Benz branded Weathertech mats a month ago, still waiting for them to ship.

After waiting, waiting more and even more waiting the dealer said my floor mats were shipping. I got home found the box and installed them right away, it was dark. The next morning I realized they simply shipped the Weathertech branded floor mats. Could have got those myself months ago. They do fit well and do the job. I paid $100 (with an Amex Benz coupon) and the dealer paid the balance, whatever that was.

Thanks for the update. Last week, the same dealer where my parts contact advised me that she was unaware of the mats/"trays" gave me a GLE loaner with them. I am curious about the part number just to check with them but I will just order the WT mats as I did more my E class.

GLC Coupe WeatherTec

I ordered the WeatherTec mats and cargo liner on Jan. 6, 2017 for my GLC Coupe. I questioned them on the phone when the order was placed if the cargo liner would fit because the bed is longer in the Coupe. They said it would. Well, it doesn't. The floor mats fit great but the cargo liner is about 5 inches too short. They had no problem taking it back and they paid for the return shipping. I'll wait until they sell a cargo liner that is measured and made specifically for the coupe.

Mercedes is selling a cargo mat for the coupe now - http://www.ebay.com/itm/272532176828...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT or here: http://www.mboemparts.com/oe-mercedes-benz/2538140200

I called my local dealer and they told me the part # is 253-814-02-02 - but that doesn't come up in a search

You are 100% correct. My local dealer gave me the same part numbers - after doing research - they are indeed the simple floor mats. Looks to me like they dont make Weathertech type, Mercedes branded mats anymore

ToughPRO Mercedes Benz GLC Class Floor Mats Set- All Weather - Heavy Duty - Black Rub

I went a different route and ordered these all weather mats custom made for the 2017 GLC300 SUV from Amazon. Cost was only $69.95 and they are made with a flexible heavy duty rubber. They don't attach with the buttons like the carpet mats do but I put them over my mats and they don't move. Love how they look and they did a decent job in protecting over the winter. They also sell the cargo mat at the same price for the rear.

Forgot to bargain for the mats when I bought the car, but called my salesman and he got the all weather mats (f and R) and storage tray for $256 plus tax. All are MB with the MB logo. Nice heavy duty rubber quality and fit perfectly. PN 253-680-37-9G33 (f at $96.05), rear PN 253-680-38-03-9G33 (at $40.38) and 253-814-00-00 for the tray ($119.85).

I got WeatherTech floorliners for my new GLC, both front and back. They fit perfect and cheaper ($160) than M-B rubber mats. While at the dealer this week, noticed M-B rubber mats and it appers to be made by WeatherTech.

How much are the MB mats I thought they were about the same price or even a little cheaper than wt. I thought 160 or so for front and rear seat, not the cargo area

at the dealer this morning. $122.50 for front and rear mats, i was pleasantly surprised at the price to say the least. They seem like nice beefy mats

i asked about the Cargo mat and he said the thought it was around $150 but he didnt look it up.

gnawmean 07-28-2017 08:41 AM

Here's a pic of the cargo mat from costco that I mentioned. $40 and easy to shape if you want to cut the edges off, but I kind of like how they go up a little to help protect the sides a bit for when my dog goes in.

I tried the MB cargo tray and didn't like it. It didn't fit all that well and it didn't fill the right hand nook.

I went with the WeatherTech cargo tray. The fit was much better and it extends into the nook.

Question Frogman...since you've tried both the MB cargo tray and the WT, do either one have much of a smell? Some rubber/vinyl things like that can really stink.

Also, is it grippy at all so things don't slide all over the place?

BTW, that tray looks great in the pic.

Thanks, the tray does fit very nicely and as you can set from the tray surface, it gets a lot of use!

I didn't notice any smell from the MB one; but I only had it for half a day before returning it. Plus, I didn't think it was all that grippy. The surface seemed smoother than the WT tray.

I've had the WT tray since early June and have not noticed any smell from it at all.

The WT tray surface is quite grippy; more than I thought it would be based on the WT web site pictures. It's not sticky at all, it just grips really well. I'm very happy with it.

The wife even commented that things she puts back there don't slide around like they did on her old car and she's takes turns pretty aggressively.

Thanks for the reply frogman. I was at a wedding out of town and missed it.
Good to hear the WT doesn't smell. And grippy is good!

One question...did you remove the WT logo? Looks like I see where it may have been. Like some others, I'm not a big fan of the prominent badge!

Yes, once the mat was down, the logo didn't last 10 seconds. It peals off very easily.

Resurrecting this thread - anyone have part numbers for the OEM logo'd, but made by Weathertech, liners for front and rear? We have the canada part number, but none of the numbers here seem to be USA. Ironically, Weathertech is 5 miles from me - but I don't like their loud logo and would prefer the OEM mats if possible.

TIA!

Unless something has changed, I don't believe Weathertech makes OEM/MB logo'd liners for the GLC. I looked all over the place for them when I ordered the MB all-weather mats earlier this year. I also wanted the WT liners, but NOT their loud logo. :)

I went down this road to no avail. I tried some part numbers that were allegedly Canadian but as far as my dealer was concerned they were Greek. I bought the Weathertech.

I've seen Mercedes Benz branded Weathertech mats for the GLA but not the GLC in the US. I'm currently debating MB vs. Weathertech for the cargo liner. I have the 2019 MB all-weather mats but noticed they are a bit different than my last MB mats from 2015. These are stickier and they no longer use the honeycomb pattern.

@thescrod - look at post 26 (https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....1&postcount=26) ... years ago these were available obviously as that person posted pictures of them. The issue there was these were bought in Canada and we don't have a proper MB part number. Searching manually through the parts site, I only find the old-style rubber mats, not these liners. I find it odd that WeatherTech who is so pro-America would make something only for the Canadian market. Having had the OEM ones in my GLA, I will definitely get another set. They fit so well and kept the crud in that it's a definite. I may do custom vinyl stickers on my laser printer to put over the WT logos. Thing is, from what I've read, the OEM ones are about 50% cheaper and if ordered online you save on taxes too. With WT in my backyard, I have to pay more than OEM and tax and shipping or go there to pick them up, which may yet happen.

For those still interested in Weathertec floor mat.
I've got these just in time before the snow starts to fall.
The part number is PBQ6020464.
The front ones have the buttons that click to floor's carpet.
The rear one covers over the hump, which is really good as my kids tend to step on that hump all the time.

If you scroll down a bit more than half way, you'll see the "liners" for the GLC, but no pics yet. This is Mercedes Benz shop in Canada that shows all the mats they offer. Not sure if you could find a dealer or if this site would allow you to order and ship to the US, but once they post up a pic of the GLC one's and if they look like the WT mats, I may try and order. It looks like the one's showing for the C43 are a bit different than the pics posted in this thread...not going to chance it. I have the US version All Weather Mats, but would much prefer these. We'll see...

My experience with my C450 is that the water likes to pool at the corner of the gas pedal. If there was enough water it will leak onto the floor liner/carpet of the car. I ended up lining the driver side floor area with a rubber liner under my mat to prevent the carper from getting wet.

Here are the floormats that i have.

FYI - talked with parts department of MB dealer who is about 5 miles from WeatherTech... they said still no OEM branded WT liners available, they order the WeatherTech branded ones for all GLCs still. I then asked how much - seeing as our Canadian friends were paying about 60% of the price listed on the website and he said they actually mark it up so it's more than going direct! HUH? I get it but HUH? So I guess I'll be ordering some WTs.

Just circling back for the USA folks who might be waiting around.

I did find some of my GLA mats though, so I can at least swap the logos with some glue ;)

Try emailing Weather tech for a part number.
I'm in Canada and got them from a dealer, but had to contact Weather tech because the dealer told me they didn't exist.

That said, the Weather Tech mats are a great product. Made in the USA.

My preference is for oem accessories. Suggest you look at both and make your own decision.

I don't believe you can go wrong with either one. :y

FYI these are the OEM old style mats... the new style are called liners, and are shown in an early post. Difference is that basically they hold about 5 gallons of water as they go up the sides and form fit each car. The old style, could theoretically be used in any car with some trimming. Net-net, no MB labeled US liners in the catalog.

ToughPro GLC All Weather Mats
Can anyone use these mats? I just sold my GLC300 and cant use them anymore. These are like new, all you have to pay for is the shipping which would probably be about $10.00. Let me know if you want them, I hate to see them just sitting in my basement.

Dang great deal would of got yours if I didn’t have mats already. Tough Pro Mats are great. Got the cargo rubber mat last week for 60 bucks perfect fit. Better than the dealer expensive wont fit right mat.

I'd love them - and am in Forest Park, so hopefully shipping is super easy. I'd pick them up but my schedule is totally goofy. PM me for details, I'll send you funds.

Thanks

Weathertech Passenger Side GLC 300 Floor Liner - deformed

Greetings,

Was reading over this thread, wondered if anyone else has had bad luck with any batches of GLC 300 Weathertech floor liners. I just got a 2019 GLC 300 (non coupe) and ordered a set from Amazon (from an Amazon seller).

The driver side fit fine, but the passenger side was not a good fit at all. I have asked to process a return and replacement, however wanted to inquire if others have had similar issues. See pic below:

I've tried locating these mats with no luck. Weathertech told me that my dealer would have to order them. I have tried 3 different MB dealers and no one knows what I'm talking about. Interestingly enough, the husband of the lady I spoke with at Weathetech actually works for a MB dealer in Illinois. She said its defiantly doable. I wasn't thinking or I would have asked for his contact info and see if he could order me a set. My problem is, I need these mats today, we live in Colorado and its been snowing about once a week. So I think I'm gonna order a regular set of Weathertechs to get me through the winter...just peel off the Weathertech logo. If you live in an area where it gets mucky from rain, mud, snow etc, I highly recommend Weathertech! I have a set on my Subaru Outback and would never trade them...well, I may buy a new fresh set but that is it. They work really well.

Ray
