I couldn't see one so thought I'd start one!

Ordered my GLC over the weekend. Spec as follows:

GLC 250d AMG (In the UK we only have 220d or 250d options atm)
- Premier Plus Package (COMAND, Pano roof etc.)
- Metallic Canvasite Blue
- Artico Black Leather interior (couldn't justify Leather!)
- LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus

My only problem is having to wait until July for it! (The existing lease car finishes then and I get this beauty!)

Supposed to be in production now and complete by 2/29...I expect I will see it may the last week of March, maybe first week of April depending on transport and customs times.

Joe- I ordered the designo black and my SA said that the passenger power seat & memory (242) are included and it is listed on my order sheet under designo black (p87). Also I saw a platinum white designo at a dealer and it had the power/memory passenger seat yet it wasn't itemized on the sticker. I'm going to check again with the dealer.

Build date was for Feburary/ 3rd decade.... which is currently right now, but was told the actual date is on Thursday Feb 25th... Which will be the real Birthday. Lol... Expecting it to arrive at Long Beach port end of March / first week of April and should have the car within 2-5 days after arrival. West Coast cars take about an extra week or two compared to the East Coast.

There is a previous order blog, I think I was the last one to put my car on it. I am glad someone started a new one. My car is to be delivered to the dealer today!!! Hopefully to be delivered to me tomorrow night after work.

I ordered mine on 23rd Jan 2016 here in Toronto. I just chased up with the dealer to check on the delivery date as it was supposed to be early May. He now tells me that they still don't have an allocated build slot so no date yet on manufacture or delivery!
I find it hard to believe that every GLC 300 ordered through this dealer in the last month doesn't have a build slot allocation yet, but anyway....

That does not sound right. He should be able to find you a spot or change a car in the system that has been allocated to him.

When the dealer & I went through the configurator & placed the order back in January, it showed he had a slot & a shipping date, however the dealer now tells me that the April production was oversubscribed & so it wouldn't accept his order. I suspect someone forgot to follow up with the order & I'm only finding this out now as I made an enquiry as to the order status.

Ordered car and went into production on 2/19/15. Here are the specs:

Car built for safety. Expecting our first borned in July. Do you know how long it will take for the car to arrive to dealership from production date? Any way to track this? This is my first time ordering a Mercedes car. My last few has been BMW and was able to track the car from Munich to USA. Thank you

Sometimes it's one particular item that's oversubscribed, e.g. heated steering wheel or mb stitched dash, etc. The dealer should be able to tell you if that's the case.

This is mine....ordered in the beginning of Feb. From what I heard, go on production in April, and delivered to California in May. Long time to wait.

As I still can change config in March, I am so hesitating to add lighting package or not.

Without lighting package, you will be looking at having halogen headlight for your GLC. To me, it doesn't looks right and halogen lights are not very good. I would get the lighting package.

I know. Personally I disagree MB a lot for such spec. It's 2016 and at least it should be HID headlamp as standard. Halogen? come on.....

But the thing is...I live in San Francisco bay area, traffic and road lamp everywhere. I don't really drive in dark environment. My big boss (you know, it's my wife) won't allow me to spend more on car. She said, if you want lighting package, give up 360 degree camera package. I was like....:nix::bow:

My build. Order placed on January 26, 2106, Category B1, Production scheduled for second decade in March (11-20 March). Expecting delivery in Mid-April.

It is a long list as it contains "Standard Accessories" in addition to the optional accessories. Some of those are interesting too... "Larger Fuel tank"?

It is for me, the perfect build with the exception of the MB-Tex Covered Dashboard for $650. The regular dashboard looks fine to me, but I had no choice if I wanted leather seating. A waste of $650 in my opinion, although others will differ. The "Air Balance" seems a bit frivolous, but for $350, what the heck?

Your car should be at the dealer about 4 weeks from production date.

That is quick. I was expecting waiting 8-10 weeks (previous two BMWs) Thank you for the information.

An interesting read from all the posts already! It seems that the Oz / US versions have very different options. I'd have loved to have rear heated seats for the kids but they aren't an option in the UK.

The Premier plus pack though in the UK lumps in quite a lot of options that the Oz / US only have as single options. So the Premier plus pack in the UK is:
