Anybody using the ECO display to save fuel?

I love it on the GLC300, especially the coast indicator (rolling wheel). It's a challenge to keep it in the 2 to 3 o'clock range much less keeping it full green since hard breaking zaps it. Coasting to a stop light (within reason) and seeing people racing to get to the red light fully knowing they're rushing to stop is humorous. Would like to hear if anyone is using the ECO display and to what success. Not only will you be saving fuel but your brakes also.

I don't always check it, but I do like to have a look occasionally. I do look at it a fair bit when using the Distronic, it's interesting to see what the car thinks of its own driving style.

Found the ECO display interesting but a distraction, so use it very rarely. However, sometimes I do check economy against the manufacturers claim. MB claims that a 250d 4M may achieve an average of 5.7lt/100kms, whereas mine actually achieved 6.3lt/100kms over approx. 5000kms. If the on-board computer is accurate, great result for mixed driving using c and s modes.
