Yes, Ebay. It's a shelf that fits under the twin lids. Has rubber liner to stop rattles and pre made hole to allow cables to pas through.
Prices vary from mid $20 to $50 for same item, ex Hong Kong or China.
Works well.

Does the storage container make it any harder to latch the doors on the center console?

No issues with storage container.
Swing doors shut with ease, no effect.
With careful placement of USB charge cable you can still have cable extended to back or front seat passengers and still close doors.
I have a small "wallet" in top tray with fuel cards in it as well as USB stick connected by USB extension cable that passes through tray to fit sockets underneath.
All works perfectly for us.

Mine arrived, fits great, and solves the 'where to put stuff' issue instead of just a small pit. Had to trim the rubber pad inside with scissors slightly to make the pad fit better, but small deal.

My center console storage unit insert arrived and I am quite impressed. EZ Pass transponder, cell phone (with charge access), and wallet fit nicely. Plus area for change. Do not understand why MB does not make this a standard feature. Have the same issue with our 2010 C300, but the storage area is not as cavernous.
Only problem with the EZ Pass transponder is that I have to take it out to be read. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee had a perforated storage unit on top of dash that permitted it to be read without removing.

Thanks for finding this thing and posting. The storage unit is probably the best value GLC accessory out there. I installed mine last week. Perfect fit and decent quality.

My only complaint is the rubber lining isn't secured in the tray and moves around. I guess this makes it easy to remove and clean but I'm going to try some double sided tape to hold it in place. Minor issue for a good value accessory.

the rubber was also slightly a bit large as well...i trimmed mine down and used a dab of Gorilla glue to secure to bottom..

This is now listed as Out Of Stock. I can't seem to find an alternative storage tray specifically for the GLC, has anyone else bought a different one that fits nicely?

I bought the one recommended for my C 300 and it fit perfectly. Again, thank you.

I also have the GLC 300 and the trays are not interchangeable. I did buy one a year ago for the GLC 300 and it also fit perfect but you must order specifically for the exact product

I bought mine from Amazon: , on Prime, no less.

Looks the same as the eBay tray, fits great, same problems with the size of the rubber mat.

I inquired with the seller on Amazon if it will fit on the 2017 GLC and he said no.

I'm out of town right now and thus cannot post any pictures, but unless there is some new and overly exacting definition of "fit" of which I am unaware, the product I linked from Amazon fits my '17 GLC300's center console. It rests snugly and comfortably in the top of the opening with no play, holds my phone and sunglasses without falling, and the top of the console closes with no interference. The only deficit I could find was the commonly cited (in this thread) problem with the rubber mat being slightly too large.

I won't tell you how to spend your money, but Amazon has rather permissive return policies: if you try it and it doesn't fit your console, you could always return it. eBay returns are generally more of a hassle. Plus, if you're a Prime customer, the free 2-day shipping is hard to beat.
