GLC phone holder

Really struggling to find a proper Phone holder for my GLC 220D. Don't like the CD slot holders. Any suggestions please. Like the idea of putting it here on the dash if possible. Or to the right hand side of the steering wheel. Mine is Right handed model. |
I tried a vent clip, but the vent keeps rotating - so that wont work
What kind of a phone do you have? - my iphone & plus doesnt fit in that opening |

Hi I have a iPhone 6. True it doesn't fit exactly into that slot. I tried my old holder into the vents and like you they keep moving. V annoying.

I hace the Brodit kit. Ir si great quality. Only problem is it interferes somewhat with the passenger's legs.
http://www.brodit.com/productList.ht...r=2017&pn=prod Since my vent clip didnt work and I needed a navigation, I put the phone on top of the opened cup holder lid cover and it worked pretty well, but was too low |
Thanks. Saw some of these. Just a little worried the passengers will keep knocking off it.

I have this boy! (£10 in the UK - I think about $15 in US)
I really like it. Well made and robust for the price and has the phone at a great angle - for me anyway. Obviously a very personal thing. Only downside is that it uses a cupholder but I rarely need both and use the one nearest for drinks. |
Looks like it could be the one for me Can I ask of it is strong enough to type and use the touch screen. Sometimes the arm can bend when using ?
|
It works fine for me. I think it is about as rigid as it can be - with an arm there's always a bit of flex. I don't type on it much - with RHD, it doesn't work too well if you are right-handed.
At the price, I wasn't expecting much but have been quite impressed how well designed and solid it is. |

I think its too low to be used as a navigation - if mounted as in the picture.

https://www.ebay.ie/itm/231354632384<br/> Found this on eBay. Do you think it will stick to the silver trim on the dash in the blue circle.? Have looked at videos of it on YouTube and it looks like it just might. |
I've always used Brodit kits with most car. I've got to say I'm really liking Mercedes SatNav and the traffic information is just as good as Waze. My phone is just on charge in the cubby hole out of sight. Neat and tidy.

ClicOn universal phone holder. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...331173d621.jpg ClicOn mount. I have the ClicOn mount and phone holder, it does have a low mounting point but is quite solid. |
Is that ClicOn - look like Brodit to me.

Looks like they may be made in the same factory.
I purchased the ClicOn from holdmyphone.com.au Brodit is the company; ProClip is their Brandname for the product and full marketing name in the US. And ClicOn is the brandname for the product in Australia. Exactly same product :D I thought I recognised it. |

I got this and I'm extremely happy.

Looks good.
Can you share a photo of it in your GLC? As the poster above mentioned, it does move a bit on hard turns :P but for me the ease of use is a no brainer. Best holder I've had. |

Thanks, I have the Brodit, It is very convenient and ov very high quality (I`ve had brodit in all my cars for over 5 years), but it gets knocked out of place all the time by the passenger's knee. Therefore I am looking for a alternative... and this really looks like it.

I think the CD one will block the buttons too much
