2018 GLC300 Recall???

GLC 2018
2018 GLC300 Recall???

Yesterday I noticed that the Mercedes Me app has a notice saying "There's a recall for your GLC 300W". I click on "learn more" and it takes me to Mercedes recall lookup tool with my VIN prepopulated. But it doesn't seem to work or to show any recalls.

I have a 2018 GLC built on Sept 9 2017.

Does anyone know what this might be?

It's the rear seat belts, which has been discussed in other threads on this forum.

My dealer has ordered the parts and I'll be bringing in my vehicle for replacement.

I also tried to input my vin on the recall website, but it didn't come up with any information. I called my dealer and was told that my car was on the recall list. I don't know if it's because I purchased my car last week and the vin is not in the system yet or the official recall notices haven't been sent out.

As pointed out in the other thread under Stop Sales - Consumer Recall Notices for the affected 2018 GLC's will be mailed out in the next couple weeks - mailed at the same time as the recall for that particular GLC is noted on the VMI record.

Thanks! Should I register my car online now so I would be able to receive a recall notice? My dealer said I could bring in the car now to have the service department replace the part(s), but I guess I'd better wait for the official notice?

As waylo states above, no need to wait for recall notice. Sounds like your dealer has confirmed your vehicle is affected and parts are available. If so, I'd deliver the vehicle to the dealer asap for recall compliance
