New tires
I found these Goodyear's on Tire Rack, but doesn't look like there are any reviews yet:

I've never been a goodyear fan but they aren't bad tires. I prefer to use a Bridgestone tire if it's available, something in the Turanza line for a GLC I would hope. I'll look around a bit and see what's offered on tire rack, but you can't really go wrong with any model.

see this link and my one on this site Hi From Oz. https://mbworld.org/forums/glc-class...c-5-tires.html
yes get alignment done, MB keep changing default settings for RHD cars. We got 32,000km, with around 10,000km left when we changed over to Goodyear’s, All Season. Run flat MOE, from Pirelli Scorpion Verde, RUN FLAT MOE summer tyres.
These Goodyear seem ok. Look a Vredestein.
Incrrease psi to 36 or 38 all round and rotate tyres every 10,000km.
GOOD LUCK.

What is the exact model of your Goodyear All Seasons? I am having trouble finding them based on your description. What did you pay for them?

this should link you. https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires...BBCardTireName
These were provided free to me by MB due to poor performance and crabbing of Pirelli tyres.
They sell here in Oz for between $550 AU to $750au depends on size.
Not easy to find, but for me they work, done around 17000km so far. Based on treadwear to date I think we may get around 50000km with maybe an extra 5000km.
tyre rotation, wheel alignment and slightly higher psi all combine to give better Tyre life and handling.

my local Goodyear shop did source some, but now advise Oz stock on back order.
some other Tyre resellers, such as online ones may have some in there warehouses.
I’ll have another look for you to see if another online store has stock.
Goodyear has there HQ in Richmond, Melbourne, they too might help and I’d where in Oz some stock lives and might redirect to Sydney area for you.
Good luck.

Would probably prefer Kuhmo Crugen but they are out of stock, at least online.
Michelin also do a super sport in this size (255 45 R20), which as an awesome tyre, but probably a bit overkill and high wearing and also out of stock.
I wonder if in the tyre world in Australia if online stock really represents actual stock if you ring in and ask?
Tempe tyres is my usual go to in Sydney,

It appears summer profile tyres are subject to Tyre crabbing. If you have not experienced it, you may be ok. Summer tyres in run flats are subject to judder normally. The GLC Coupe series came out with Michelin summer tyres, not run flats and they too suffered juddering, but less pronounced than run flat summer versions.
My personal view is that the All Season versions offer best anti judder alternative.
i have not looked into identifying a non run flat in all season design.
I think Vredestein might be non run flat, but not imported into Oz yet.
migrating to non run flat means jack kit, air pump, inflation goo or Tyre repair kit / plug like 4x4 kit or Dynaplug.
Certainly ride comfort greatly improved with non run flats.
all about compromise and cost with longevity tossed in to confuse us all !
Cheers
Yes I experience it, as do Porsche, Alfa Romeo and other owners who have large diameter low profile tyres while turning on full lock.
It is particularly bad now my Bridgestone tyres are nearly worn out.
With my new tyre choice I am looking for some value, comfort and good wear. Personally I hate the Run flat ride and the ridiculous price!
If the new tyres satisfy the above requirements I can put up with some Ackerman effect as a compromise for a good handling and good turning circle given the fairly extreme tyre dimensions.
