How to remove rear seat glc 300
A ring fell into the seatbelt hole in the back seat of a glc 300 and I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the back seat to get inside the actual seat cushion.

The lower cushion pulls up, feel under the front edge, there should be little indentations on the bottom you can push into to release, if not just grab and pull up sharply. Once it's out there are bolts to remove the back but that probably isn't necessary.

no indentations on the bottom, stuck my hand in the middle and pulled quite hard but no luck. The car is a 2018, if the year helps at all. Mercedes wanted to charge me 600$ just to remove the seat. Any other info you guys may have would be greatly appreciated. . Thanks!

Open hatch, flip/fold the back seats forward/down, then lift up and remove cargo cover to access the bolts to the back seats. You may get lucky and find the ring without removing any bolts.

If you can borrow or hire a small engine / plumbers inspection camera with an led light built in, it may help narrow down where it is and you can capture it with wire clasp ?
Just another option ? Agree looking from rear boot area first might narrow down chase too.
good luck

yes agreed i would hope most dealers as a gesture of good faith would at a minimum help you look for it or since it probably is pretty easy to take the seats out, do this for you, if not free maybe for a nominal $50 or $100
