Need help - prepaid maintenance & EW
 

I recently purchased my first MB. It's a used 2018 GLC300. It has 27,500 miles on it which means it has about 22,500 miles and 31 months left on the original warranty. My question is whether it makes sense to buy prepaid maintenance. With 27K miles, I will assume I need the 30K, 40k, 50K and so on. Most of the threads on this forum deal with buying a new GLC300 with the maintenance starting at 10K. I am beyond that point.. I'd appreciate comments.

. I am also researching extended warranties and found the best one to have is the EW by MB. What's the best price for a 3 yr EW and where to buy it?

I bought prepaid maintenance on a 2017 GLE350, with the 10k/20k/30k services. The few threads I found on this site comparing price vs value of the various scenarios didn't seem to make a big difference. I recommend buying prepaid maintenance. It's convenient and you have price certainty.

If your getting three pre-paids, try to get the B, A, B. It's even cheaper if you do your own. Just keep receipts. Ours will need the spark plugs on the next one at 50,000 miles.

Correct... buy the 3-pack since it covers all MB recommended service at 30/40/50 ... with the added cost of 40K/B+ - and 50K with recommended spark plug change - it's a sweet spot deal for you really...
