2020 GLC Order Guide Available / Taking Orders

Hello all,

The new “Dealer Ordering Guide” for the 2020 GLC is now available! Shoot me a quick email and I’ll send it over to you.

Sroumeliotis@eurogermantown.com

We are also now accepting orders as well - I can configure builds and send them back in PDF format. Release should be sometime near the end of the year. Hope to hear from you all!

Thanks, does that include the GLC63?

No... this preliminary order guide is for GLC300"s only ... no information for release on AMG's yet...

I have attached the "What's New" highlights for the 2020 GLC300's -

Email sent. Any idea when will the first 2020 deliveries take place?

fabbrisd1 03-03-2019 02:09 AM

At this point in time - for the 2020 GLC's the official MBUSA answer is "Fall 2019".

In the past that phrase in March has meant late-Aug/early-Sept US release to dealers.

Now - please understand that in the past Fed approval could be estimated - nowadays the Fed's are still dragging their heels..

Looks like there is now a spare to available? That's surprising. I assume rft are still standard? Holly the spare fits prior models that would be very nice.
Shows mbux under standard and optional equipment. Does that mean the upgrade is navigation? Carplay/Android auto on the big screen and nfc are nice to see additions.

Nice new features and options! My lease is up in October 2020 so I'll be awaiting the 2021 ordering guide.

Any word on EQC yet? Audi is taking reservations for the E-Tron and it appears that pricing for Prestige trim will be about $85K.

Thanks for the information. Many prolly very happy to see this option:

Mini spare tire (690) now available as a standalone option

fabbrisd1 03-04-2019 11:25 AM

Good call on Option 890 "Mini-Spare" - the question that will not be answered until NetStar Configure opens down the road is if this option will be available for all three tire sizes 18-19-20.

Many thanks for your sharp eyes - much appreciated - "most" dealers won't catch that unless you Ask-For-Your-Order.

Thanks. I don't own a GLC now but I've read so many complaints about no spare tire and the run flat tires. The addition of this prolly means MBZ realized they made a mistake and customers really want this - so do I.

fabbrisd1 03-04-2019 03:12 PM

"Extended Mobility Tires" frankly are the way of the future - in essence from a manufacturer's standpoint ships a new car with 4 tires rather than 4 tires + a spare.. that's a lot of rubber saved !

On my personal cars - I switch off to "standard tires" right away and throw a can of Fix-A-Flat in the trunk - I prefer the handling from "standards tires" rather than the stiffer sidewall from the extended mobility - that gives me "fresh" OE tires I can put back on when I go to sell/trade down the road - but that's me.

When the NetStar Configure tool opens up - we will know more - the "assumption" is this Options gives you a min-Spare - and keeps the Extended Mobility tires - now that GLC goes to 3-tire sizes we will need to see if min-Spare is available for all 3-sizes or limited.

Keep the beat !

Thanks, Steven and fab! Can I shoot you a PM, Steven, to get on the list for the 2020 GLC 43/63 DOG or better to wait?

The tech changes alone, and the hankering for an obnoxious V8, will have my bank account crying when these come out. :)

More than welcome to shoot me a P.M.! I will also post back and update this thread when the AMG specific content has made it's way to the guide. Hopefully not too much longer.

fabbrisd1 03-05-2019 03:08 PM

Now that's a bit funny - FYI "AMG" availability 2020 will be quite "tight" this year ... 2019 43's most likely replaced by very limited #2020 '53's and 2020 '63's very/very limited..

Keep the beat !

I saw the graphite grey metalic on a 2019 CLS 53. The color had a lot of depth and looked good both in sun and shade.

Is there an order guide for the GLC Coupe yet?

Thinking of putting an order in for a 2020 GLC allocated for June production, I seem to change my mind every day on the options i want. Any idea how long before the production date does an order freeze in the system and changes can no longer be made?

Only suggestion that I have for you is that if you are leasing or financing the car, you'll probably drive the car for at least 3-4 years. Spending an extra $2-3K really makes a difference in a long-run if you get the options that you really like.

I have Premium, Premium Plus + Park-Assist package and I love it. To be honest having the AMG-package which is just apparenece on GLC300 is pointless as the performance is doesn't match the looks at all lol .. Just get the GLC43 AMG in that case.
As for the HUD, skip it if you are planning to use polarized sunglasses as it will be basically useless. If you iPhone for sure get the smartphone integration (no opinion on the Android Auto as never had it). The rest should be easy.
