Sunroof Leaking Problems (Anyone Else?)
So my 2017 GLC300 Coupe's sunroof has been leaking for a while now, from an unorthodox spot (see video below). Aside from the center overhead console, it's also leaking on both the driver/passenger-side ceiling handles. And with today's Los Angeles rain, it's gotten worse. The irony is the leak stops when I vent the sunroof in the first position. But fully closed, it comes right back.
Has anyone had this issue?

Yes Dealership issue to fix.
On our there cars I used to use compressed air to blow tree debris and accumulated ‘sludge’ from drain holes on either side of door pillars that feed down to wheel arch or engine bay area.
Care should be taken not to dislodge the drain pipes.
You either have pipes that are blocked or for some reason may not have been connected properly at manuf.
You can try to pour a small amount of water on each side near front door pillars to see if water flows better on either side, that may tell you if one side is blocked or not. Unsure if any drains are at rear of sun roof.
Try and get an ‘expolded’ parts list of roof area to see schematic of construction ?
Also with a damp rag clean all around rubber and recessed metal moat that sun roof fits , best done when sun roof fully open, sludge can build up and interfere with performance, sometimes a light grease of rubber seal using car grease stick and help rubber stay soft and give better seal, not too mush grease as it can attract dirt, wipe on and gently remove excess.
Good luck.

I have attached a video of my GLC coupe. Whenever there is heavier rain or when I drive through a car wash, my sunroof seal can’t handle the water and it leaks. I am not sure if the amount of drops is fine for Mercedes standards or not, but my MB dealer said it was “ok”. I am attaching a video as I am not sure that the leak is “ok”. Also, when driving over 80km/h, sunroof gets “windy loud” so I have to shut the sunroof with the cover to minimize the noise.
any suggestions?
