Playing movies on screen

Is there a way to play movies on the center media console (dvd/blu-ray in CD player or mp4 files on USB/phone)?

passengers can do it on their tablet or phone. drivers dont need to be looking at videos. you dont have an argument. drive your car and pay attention.

Technically, it will play DVD's (I've done it), but it will only work when the vehicle is in Park. Obviously a safety feature so drivers are paying attention to the road and not to a movie.

Who are you to tell someone what they can and cant do with their car or anything that they pay for? At what point were you given the authority over someone else's decisions?

Yes it is a built in safety feature - and yes it is against the law... But who gives a flying f*** what your opinion is... He didnt ask you if you think he should do it - he ask you if it can be done.

And yes - it can be done. Third party shops can hack the operating system to allow video in motion. I reference a local shop in Toronto that offers the service. If they can do it - someone local to you can also do it:
