Cabin Air Filter Replacement Cost?

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Cost?
I received a promotion email from my dealer for cabin air filter replacement, $35 off the material and complimentary installation.
I asked my service advisor what the net cost is, and she said approximately $94.
Has anybody ever bought a cabin air filter and know what it actually cost? The $94 she quoted would mean the actual air filter itself costs over $100?

The outside cabin air filter under hood in front of passenger side is 20 dollars from Amazon Mann Filter CU 25 002 cabin air filter
Easy to replace.
Inside car cabin air filter if your car is equipped with fragrance smell is under glove department is harder to replace but about same price online.

Part Numbers for the two Cabin Air Filters for References
I called a dealer this morning and they gave me the two part numbers.
The one below the glove compartment is 205 835 01 47 64 and the retail price is $65.00
The other one mentioned by SigP which is located under the hood is 166 8300 218 and the retail is about $22.50
There is also one for the engine under the hood separate from the cabin air filters.
Thanks all for your help.

Also, I think you could use Mann's filter as alternative. Indeed, the cabin filter purchased from Mercedes dealer most likely is manufactured by Mann, but rebranded to Mercedes.

I changed all my own filters in my 2018 GLC and it wasn't difficult at all. I am not mechanical but it didn't stretch my abilities, so really anybody can do it. Just order them off Amazon and then watch the Youtube videos and you shouldn't have any problems at all.

Out of all filters engine filter most important to change at least every 20-25000 miles. You’ll be surprised the dirt and bugs it collects. Easy to change by yourself filter cost only 25 dollars.
Dealer recommends every 50000 miles which is way to long. And charge way more 💵💵💵

The glove box filter is the one you will notice the most, the external dust filter is mainly to keep the path into the blower clean. The interior filter should be an activated charcoal filter and helps to prevent smells and contamination in the car.
Engine filters usually look great at 40k when we are supposed to change them, there will be virtually zero gain from changing it early. But it's neither expensive nor difficult, isn't going to hurt anything to change it.

Here's a DIY video for the engine air filter on our M274 engine. The W205 has the same engine as our GLC/X253.

I just had it replaced as part of the B service. The filter itself shows a little over 100 dollars in the invoice. Needless to say, I will be doing this myself going forward.
