Map update brick wall MY20 GLC300 MBUX
My most recent map updates happened May 9 2023. My local dealer says they can't push updates out and that I have to get them online. I was an IT pro and use both Mac and Windoze 10. The map update software fails on both platforms and I cannot drill down into MBUSA enough to find anybody familiar with the software. The error on both is that I (the Admin) don't have the rights to the flash drive. Can anyone help?

How's that Linux desktop coming along...LOL? Anyway make sure the SD card/flash drive is completely empty and partitioned using the MBR scheme and formatted with NTFS. exFAT supposedly works, too, but I always use NTFS. I'm assuming as an IT Pro you should know what that is. BTW, don't stick it into a Mac. MacOS writes extra files on the drive, because exFAT doesn't support multiple streams per file and MacOS can't natively write to NTFS.
