2022 GLC 300 4 MATIC
2022 GLC transmission
I have a 2022 GLC 4Matic I bought used in December with 12K miles, a CPO.

I've noticed on a cold startup the transmission is in "C" mode and it shows it's in 1st gear. I drive off in either C or E mode and it has a harsh 1st to 2nd shift. All the other gear changes are fine.

When I come to the first stop sign, 500 feet or so, it doesn't shift to 1st, always starts in 2nd and continues like that.

Is a 1st gear start used only in sport or sport+ mode? The transmission shifts fine after the first shift when cold. It seems the warmer the trans fluid gets the smoother it shifts.
