Yep there is no heads up display shortage sorry if that was misleading, meant to say that people upgrade trim levels often for one key feature like a heads up display or ambient light package.

Hi, thanks for the photos. Are there lights in your footwells? The latest 2024 GLC build on the MBUSA website has dropped the lighting in the vents, but it has lighting in the footwells. ( https://www.mbusa.com/en/vehicles/bu...egory=interior ) Enjoy!

We have a 2023 GLC ordered Feb 23 delivered July 23. It has this lighting package. I feel for those who expected and did not get. Hopefully this gets corrected soon

That's such a big disappointment.
When I was putting the deposit down, my sales manager made it sound like him putting the 894 Enhanced ambient on my build sheet might make the factory install it, when the reality is that option is not available at all for the 24 models.

Would you be able to post pics of what your dashboard and interior of your GLC looks like at night? Trying to figure out how mine is gunna look, not many videos of glcs without the enhanced ambient light.

I ordered my GLC coupe coming up on 2 months ago and I wanted to make sure that I did not get the enhanced ambient lighting when ordering the Pinnacle trim. I was actually asking questions to make sure I could tone it down to make it more subtle in the MBUX. Looking at the pics that @Jbnonc and @simonjb posted above (thanks for these) with the non-enhanced this confirms for me that it was the right decision. I agree about the disappointment for those that were expecting it, but in my case I just felt like it would be too much like being inside a pinball machine. And having lived without it in my BMW for the last 10 years, I think the new ambient lighting will be perfect and just the right touch for this machine.

I’m glad I found this thread. Because I don’t have any lights in my vents either and i was going to take my car to Benz thinking something was wrong. I called the customer service line and they said I have the 876 interior lighting package but they couldn’t tell me what was included in that.
also I have a slot for wireless charging but it’s doesn’t work. Customer service let me know they don’t see wireless charging included.
