2025 GLC 300 SUV?
Has anyone heard when the dealers are going to be able to start designing the 2025 model yet to order? Price increases? Model updates/changes? Packages? available/unavailable add ons? I know the price went up significantly between 2023/2024 models with no changes to the car whatsoever, (I know, I know, wages benefits, post-COVID etc...blah blah blah...still no reason to raise the price almost USD$2300-$3000 more)
Any info would be much appreciated, thanks everyone!!

All kidding aside, I expect the MY25 GLC to debut in the Fall so expect to be able to order early Summer.

2025 C Class order guide just came out, I'd expect GLC to follow within the next two months likely quite soon. Expect changes to be minimal, but some may mirror the C Class - new Alpine gray, availability of MB-Tex steering wheel, less availability of AR for Nav, and the lightly updated Gen 3 infotainment system (basically just a mild reskin, same functionality). Only major change will be the availabilty of the GLC63 models and the GLC400e.

No, seems to have trickled in on some C Classes and I'm not really seeing it anymore on window sticker listings. A lot of 43 AMGs have it though.

Let's hope they are feverishly working on some serious mid-cycle updates on reliability. I know 2 people that bought other cars because of all of the reports of the new C/GLC and the battery/no start issues. If Volvo and others can get the (pointless) mild hybrids systems to work, surely MB can do it. But they will need to work hard to turn it around.

The only folks telling you there's "nothing wrong" either work for Mercedes or are paid "boosters"! The Consumer Reports results don't lie!

-New models: GLC350e PHEV, GLC63S E, GLC63S E Coupe
-New colors - Alpine Grey, Verde Silver
-New Opperating System for the infortainment (barely any changes for the customer, just a new electric architecture beneath and some expanded uses)
-New central airbag

Thanks, Benjamin, now I remember that the 2025 MB GLC will offer the plug-in hybrid which gives the range of 60 plus miles. The price would start at $60K. I am waiting for the update BMW X3 and will check it out. I will compare between the 2 before making the decision.

I test drove a GLE 450e today. That has about 60 miles of electric range. However, the PARKTRONIC WAS INOPERATIVE.

I think we should be patience and wait for at least 6 months to see if all the features are properly functional. For me, I would wait for at least the 3rd model year in order to buy one. At least with my 2017 C class.

I almost bought a 17 c300 convertible. Every one I road tested had errors. One even went into limp mode. My 21 has been trouble free.

Yeah, sometimes, one gets excited with the first model year and wants to be the first to own. Most of the time, problems arise here and there. Eventually, we don't want to be the first to do the experiment, especially with new car.

A new GLC PHEV definitely gives me pause, especially w/all the 48V growing pains Mercedes has experienced over the years! Not sure if you're considering a 4 cylinder, but the G45 X3 gets the 48V MH for the first time (the B58 6-cylinder M40i has had it since at least MY22). Both new models come w/some risk but I think the BMW has less of it IMHO.

Thanks for your input. I have never owned a BMW SUV before, and see a lot of bad comments about the old Bimmers. However, I see a lot of new BMW cars and SUVs nowadays in the Bay Area and I wonder why. Some people say the new ones are better in term of reliability. One of the fact is BMW EVs asold more than MB EVs. I also see that BMW cars price is typically $2K cheaper than MB cars. But for interior design, MB looks better, IMHO.

How comfortable are the seats, may I ask? That's my high priority beside the performance. My 2017 C class has firm seats. It's O.K for short trips , but not comfy for a long one. The performance is excellent.

Having said that, the new G45 seats could be different as I've only sat in a MY23 GLC loaner and the MY25 X3 won't hit dealerships until August, I think.

Exellent input. I won't need a new car until the end of the year. I 've waiting to see what BMW to do with the grille of the new X3. The interior of the new X3 will be more like the new 5 series which the seats are comfy. ( I sat in one). I think the trunk of the X3 could be slightly bigger than the GLC. The MY2025 GLC will be the same as 2024. I like the interior of the MY24 GLC. I will find out later. By the way, the production of the new X3 will start in July, so it will be on our shores by Sept or Oct , my guess.

By comparison, the GLC trunk is nearly 25% smaller than the X3's (towards the bottom of the class)!

As stated in a previous post, I’m looking at either the GLE PHEV or the GLC PHEV. Yes, there seems to be reliably issues with MB. However, the GLC PHEV has been available in Europe for a couple of years. The GLE I drove yesterday had a PARKTRONIC NOT OPERATIONAL message. That’s scary.
