Besides trying to park away from idiots which sometimes is impossible and the fact that they are making a lot of parking stalls more narrow, are there any door moldings available for the GLC's? I think I received my first scuff, no dent fortunately but a scuff none the less. Would running boards help? What are other people doing to protect their GLC's?

I have the running boards, and in some situations it will help you protect from dings. But it always depends on the shape of the door of the "attacking" car.

I think running boards might help just a little but they will never protect against those idiot and careless people.

I never park next to a coupe. They all have long doors.

I plan to install a film (suntek) on the front, doors & mirrors of my vehicle . I have used it before & it is amazing & self healing. Another benefit would be protection from the elements if you live in areas where you get road salt etc. I had an installer who has installed 3m and several other competitors products & he believes suntek is best.
