I wish we could get the AMG wheel in the states :-(

Well, I guess I guess the wheel we get (I'm in the U.S. too) isn't quite the AMG wheel, but it is pretty close. The "sport" wheel we get has no nappa leather and is slightly skinnier than the AMG wheel. The difference between the sport and AMG wheel is very similar to the different between the BMW sport (middle) and M (right) steering wheels. Pics below if you didn't already know:

Yeah it's still a sportier flat bottomed wheel we get, I just wish we could also opt for the AMG. I think on the C43 here it is an option. Oh well.
