I ordered all of the OEM grill parts today from Pelican. I was on the fence about the Distronic star cover since it was expensive but the feedback from a few of you indicated the current Distronic star cover would not be compatible with the new grill. Estimated arrival on the parts is next week. I'll post up pics once I receive everything and have a chance to remove the bumper and get everything swapped over. The prices from Pelican were about 30% lower than one of the MB dealers that responded to my request for parts quotes. Kind of sad that I emailed 4-5 dealers and only 1 responded.

Dont think it's the same but for what people say in the forum , bumper removal is not necessary .

Not yet - waiting for tghe bumper parts to arrive and want to do at the end.

Okay, started the retrofit and realised that these brackets are also required. Part numbers in picture. Other than that it's all uiu need.

Takes an hour, no need to even remove bumper

Trying to figure out if they are the same and just priced differently or if one is more plug-n-play than the other

I am pretty sure they are the same and made by the company in China and can be seen on Alibaba sold by different seller with different pictures and angle . I have noticed that when a seller spend more on picture quality they sale for more $ .
But they look pretty good ! But check previous post from someone who bought one for is 43 ..... good fitment and look but the camera hole was setting his camera out of way .

I brought it to my MB dealer. They threw it on(1 hour). Camera works perfectly(they realigned everything).
Just search GLC43 Grill or Panamericana Grill for GLC 43 on Amazon.

Yes I agree. I went with the traditional because I was afraid my front end would be all washed out in a sea of black. Nevertheless the black has def grown on me.

Looks good . I am actually glad I went with the silver/black version as I feel it breaks things up a little. I think if I went with the black I would black out the MB Symbol. The black grille would look great on a white one for sure.

I tried the all black MB Symbol first, but as you stated I needed to mix things up and since my GLC still has some chrome bits here and there. So I decided to keep the chrome symbol. Either silver/black combo or all black will look good. Can't go wrong with Pan Grill.
