Same here. Our price is before VAT which varies based on city and state VAT rates from 0% to 10.5%. Plus there is registration and license plate fees on top of that. But you are right our cars still cost less even after taxes.

The car is looking really good in production trim. Look at how it takes corners.

Pricing
I just got the pricing on my build. See attached.
It includes the base price of 63S Coupe and Options
It doesn't include the pricing for the AMG Performance seats yet. But those will be added.
Also doesn't include pricing for the Designo Bengal Red interior I am trying to custom order.

Is your price without negotiations and haggling? Seems a bit fair for such a new model and it's the coupe.

He stated that if I can wait at least another year after the initial release, or wait until I have about 5 months left on my lease, that he could see if they can use the pull ahead program and/or work out a super deal again.
As I mentioned before, I got a super deal on my GLC43 to the point that my vehicle actually has equity in it. I am sure my friend can work out another deal like that if I am patient.

Stealth Pilot - your build is missing a few charges, the 997 package and the RWD forged wheels. that is about $6k - $7k, plus the cost of the P62 package. My guess is that you are at about $100k on that build. I have a similar build on order, but with the 801 seats and RWA wheels. You really loaded up. Very nice.

DameMD - while you might have equity in your lease, great job on the up front negotiating, you will be thinking about the GLC 63 for the next 30 months. I have a 63 on order. I thought about the 43, but every time, I came back to the fact that I really want the full AMG experience. The new 9 speed, the LSD, the grill, the 4Matic+. There are just too many unique features on the 63 that distinguishes it from the 43.

801 seats are black nappa upgrade on 63 coupe. 63S is 811, which has a slight gray contrast. You can move up to designo, which is more, but you can't get carbon fiber interior. I wanted the carbon fiber, so I chose the 801 seats. They look to be more sport oriented based on order guide.

Called it in the other thread! Knew it was gonna be $69-70k base for the SUV. Thanks for the confirmation.
I'm still pissed that the SUV doesn't get the forged wheels as an option, but maybe the black RWB wheels will look good enough.
I'm 50/50 on ordering a BMW M3 competition package or a GLC63 SUV right now. Need real world photos of the GLC63 to make up my mind.

I think with options a GLC63 SUV will cost me about $80k. A well equipped M3 competition package costs roughly the same. Decisions decisions...

The X3M will be 2019. I am a big fan of BMW, currently drive an E92 335i xdrive. But I really think the Merc interior is superior, and more drivable as a daily driver compared to an M. The M3 comp is an amazing car, but without all wheel drive, I can't drive it here in Chicago for 4+ months. Snows won't help, you'll slide around corners all day. Unless you are keeping options to a minimum, you are looking more at 87k on a GLC SUV. The Coupe is more like 92k, with the 63S more like 97k. I don't think you are looking at a 50/50 based on price. Both are great choices, but very different in terms of drivability. Get the M3 comp if you plan to track it. Get the GLC if you plan to drive it as a daily driver. Just my two cents.
