Hi there I have an 2017 GLC 43 Coupe and was just wondering if there's any valve that opens or closes when in sport+ mode. I have heard from some people that it doesn't, so just wondering what makes it louder in sport+. Also how many resonators are there and do you think it would sound better with them deleted. Thanks

No expert but sounds louder because it hangs on to higher revs in sport+ and in my opinion sounds good enough as it is, that's assuming the exhaust in the coupe is the same as in my suv.

There's 1 resonator. Remove it to get a great sporty sound like the Performance Exhaust. I am still not sure why Sport+ is louder besides holding the Revs longer. There must be something else going on. If it was just the RPMS, then when the dynamic mode is set to Comfort and I have drive selector in "Manual" mode and I hold the revs longer it should sound like Sport+. That's not the case.
