GLC 43 Coupe
winter in 20" 4 x same width or front/rear diff

my daily driver
Hi All,
Driving a 2017 GLC Coupe with 21 summer set, now looking for a winterset in 20".
What is better?
Go for 4 x 255/45 R20 or like my 21" summer set different front/rear width : 255/45 R20 front and 285/40 R20 rear?
MB is not clear what is "best".
Your thoughts on this please!

2017 GLC43 AMG
I went with the same size all around. Biggest advantage is you can now rotate them which will really add up when it comes to longevity.

2018 GLC 43 & 2014 SLK 350, gone 2016 E63 Wagon
I just took delivery of my 2018 GLC43 and had an MB winter tire package installed - MB recommends 19" 235 55R19 on all four corners. For my previous vehicle (E63 wagon), I took the same approach 19" on all 4 corners. The vehicle performed perfectly in winter/snow conditions. The recommendation from the MB Canada site is 19" size for both the SUV and Coupe version of the GLC43.

Very very slow
MB Canada recommends 235/55/19.
I went with 255/50/19 instead.

Mercedes-AMG GLC 43
I have the below winter wheels on my GLC 43, paid around USD 2.5k + setup (there was a discount). They are Mercedes OEM and in the end didn't cost more than 3rd party wheels + tires. Note that the 235/55 R19 configuration is the standard one in Europe. 20" and 21" are options.

thanks! This is the recommended setup for use with snowchains, other sizes leave no room for them!

2018 AMG GLC43C4 w/ Eurocharged tune
I went with the 255/45 R20 and 285/40 R20 option because actual size was closer to the 21" setup compared to 20" 8.5"s all around. Didn't want those 8.5"s on the back either. Found a set of 2017 Multipspoke with black accent rims and paired with GOODYEAR EAGLE SPORT ALL-SEASON RUNONFLAT from Tirerack.com.

So I ran into an issue with purchasing the 20" spokes, the lug bolts need to be shorter as the rim is not as thick as the 21's. Can anyone help me out with which lug bolts I need to put these on? The dealership has been of no help and actually sold me the same ones that came factory with my car.
