ECU location

Well I've removed a 2017 C63s coupe ECU to send out for tuning though I haven't looked at the GLC 63s coupe ECU location. Praying its in an easy spot then on the c63's? Anyone know?

I am confused, you removed the ECU, but don't know where to install. If that is the case ask your son he will find the location in thirty seconds.

Being that this is an glc 63s coupe suv I'm wondering if its in a different place then the c63s coupe car. Sorry if this was confused or i didn't say it correctly. Being hopefully its in a different location since its a different chassis but same exact power place motor etc..

really don't need more power for the 3.7 sec GLC 63S for street, unless you want to build a rocket on drag strip. but it is a wrong car for drag?

Don't the c63s and glc63s use the same engine??? I would posit that the eco would be in the same place or close by...

Bringing this back to life... Has anyone gotten to the ECU on the GLC 63? I have someone who is going to remove it and we wanted to check so we know where to look first. Much appreciated.

the GLC63 ECU location is in the worst spot ever between the frame and the motor you need a lift to get it out and still very hard scale 1-10 its a 10
but very worth it my GLC63 is over 600hp at the crank and is truly a beast

So I'm assuming same place as my C63s?

Still haven't removed mine after doing it from the c63, I don't want to yet. Plus I'm surprised no vendor has created a nice looking alternative mounting system for ECU relocations.

Are you sure? I was installing a dash cam in my GLC63 and saw two "ECU" looking modules in the trunk, under the floor board by the battery.

These cars have ECU's for everything. I believe it is in the same place. Going to get under the car tomorrow most likely. I will let you guys know the outcome.

I have something in the trunk under the cover where the spare should be, but I don't know what it is. It might be related to the air suspension.

Can someone advise an orientation of that photo? I can't really tell where it's at.

Yeah that cannister and all of the plugs/harnesses that are in the trunk on the 63's aren't in the 43. No idea what all of that is.

Here's a link for the ECU removal on a C63S. I was told it is the same on the new GLC63

And just to add for "junior", here's the ECU removal on the C43...same spot for the GLC43. Looks to be a whole heckuva lot easier than the 63's.

I have my first service coming up soon, so after that, I may be taking my ECU out if I go Renntech. Either that or Jb4, can't make up my mind.
