GLC63 verus GLC63S Differences?

GLC63 verus GLC63S Differences?
- Do they have the same turbos?
- Do they have the same ECU?
- What is the max boost from each?
- Are the intakes the same?
- Who are the best US based tuners?
- If all parts are the same is it possible for a tuner to have the same profile for the 63 and 63S?
Race Mode? What are the changes from Sport+?
Has anyone de-staggered the wheels?
Thanks,

Excellent question!
Bummed we don't get the S SUV here in the USA so also interested to hear the differences, but more about the non engine related differences as those are the changes that are more significant on the c63 in my opinion

on tuners, Renntech in Florida is one of the bigger names.
I'dsay look at the other AMG models such as the E63 and GLE63 to see what tuning options they have for a good idea.
I too am curious about the Turbo sizes and boost levels

Thanks,
both S or non S has the same turbo (single scroll), the E63 has twin scrolls
ECU is the same, the only different is the tune for S vs non S
I member the tech say 18 psi boost
Intake is the same
Race mode, I am not 100% sure. But what I know is the when selecting RACE. DSC completely off, manual shift only, exhaust flap fully open, suspension fully lowed, with HUD the display will change to AMG spec
Mechanical vs Electronic Limited Slip Differential, of cause ele is better
Best tuners! depends on what type, but this is beat to dead question, also no one has tune yet for GLC 63. need to wait
de-stagger, of cause you can do that, but the rear will look weird because of the 63 has a wider body, unless you use some wheel spacer to push it out
Please correct me if I am wrong on these answers :-p

According to Eurocharged they can tune it since its the same ecu setup as the C63's. Didn't know how much different the tune would need to be changed due to the 9 speed unless they care completely different.

Do both cars have Race Start (Launch Control)? While the GLC 63 does not have Race Mode, I have been told by the dealer that it still has Race Start and I'm not sure that's the case. Still in break in period with 1200 agonizing miles to go...

Race start is available in GLC63 after break-in period & if certain conditions are met (e.g. doors & hood closed, coolant temp is not cold, etc.). See attachment from owner’s manual.

Thanks,
2. Yes, same hardware but different programming.
3. IDK
4. Yes.
5. Depends on who you ask.
6. Yes, the engine from a 63 can be tuned as aggressively as an engine from the 63s because they are the same engines.
