ok, i did some reseacch on the standard seats and many seem to like them on the C class forums.
As much as I have been spoiled by red guts with cooled seats in both of my current cars, I am considering sticking to the fake leather in exchange for the Driver assistance package because I just can't imagine driving for more than a few months without dynamic cruise control.
how do you feel about your seats? please post [showing which seats you have if you can.
I spec'd my 2018 GLC43 with Designo platinum white/black seats and they are great! I had the 'fake leather' in my 2011 GLK but these are way better seats.
A few options went down in cost. DAP went from 2400 to 1800 and exterior light package went down to 800 so there's a little more money for me to get my red seats and DAP.
I am still thinking of removing my upgraded seats from my build. as much as I desperately want the red, I actually do not like all leather seats. My last 3 performance cars have all had alcantera (maybe suede?) inserts and i prefer those to sitting on leather.
maybe i need to test drive one with base seats and another with leather seats.
That's the leather option. My wife loved those seats in the 63, but she decided on the 43 but those seats in the 43 has red stitching which she wasn't fond of.
