new GLC63 build negotiation
Hi guys,
I need your help/advice on a new 2018 AMG GLC63 build.
Here is the build: https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...uildId-3337159
I'm thinking about European delivery and my dealer here in Florida is telling me that the maximum discount I can get is the 6% of $91,655 MSRP plus the delivery charge of $995.
Is this right? What deals you guys got?
Thanks in advance!

you cannot order 2018 anymore. 2019 is being build now. ask the dealer for the dealer order guide or I can email it to you. some features were removed and some added. base MSRP also changed.
6% is as good a discount as you would get anywhere on a 63.
You might have a hard time enjoying european delivery if your car is going to be ready late in the year but you do not have a way to get winter tires to drive it, so look into build time and all that.
I say go ahead and buy at that price but be mindful of expected build date.

Base MSRP now 70,800 versus 69,900.
Driver Assist Package now 1800 versus 2250, just glancing at your build.
So difference should not be great.

Download dealer order guide and check against your build.

The GLC63 is in great demand right now. Dealers are not willing to discount in major metro areas as the allocations are hard to get and they're selling them at or near window. Chalk this up to the exceptional demand in the Asian market. AMG can only build about 32-33K engines a year and they're already running two shifts.
The exception is that each dealer receives a certain number of factory deliveries which do not come off his allocation. The dealer pays AMG for this privilege so the dealer is willing to go 6% and delivery as this is great brand marketing. I've done several European deliveries and I can't recommend it enough.
AMG believes when you go through their tour and pick up your car YOU ARE NOW HOOKED and a brand ambassador. Do it.

I ordered my 2018 GLC 63 from MB of Catonsville, MD last October. It arrived in April. I negotiated 7% plus no destination/delivery fee for local pick up. Work with Garun Turin for out of state orders.

I'm really surprised, wondering how much they really get on these cars...

guys, here is my 2019 build; do you see something wrong with it? (before I order it
it seems I have to wait little for headup display to be available
so final "deal" is 7% off plus additional $995

those lease numbers are quite ridiculous. I still am tempted to lease for tax benefits but you very well could end up ahead by bying and selling in the same time

So I have heard. I was looking at getting a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk also and the lease numbers were similar, leading to 51% depreciation after 3 years, slightly better than the 48% of the AMG. performance car lifestyle.

Do you have his number? What was the process in order to get to the 7% discount? Trying to get to same discount on custom build.

Yes, I am currently in a TH lease, though you may be able to negioate a better trackhawk price due to inventory stacking up right now.

Better off financing with those lease rates. You can get lease a base AMG GT for less than these rates listed for the GLC63.
It looks like the financing rate is 4.2% for the 60 month term. You may be able to do better.

I wish MB had the same lease rates as BMW...

I have seen 10k off at best, but that still puts me at mid 80s where my GLC MSRP is.
I have enjoyed my SRT Jeep for the last year, I am definitely excited to try something else short of a hellcat charger.
If i do get bored with the GLC, it would most likely be to a CPO 2018 E63 AMg. but i have a feeling i would love the car for a long time
