Outside Temp Thermometer Stuck

So 24 days in, I have discovered that the outside temp thermometer has failed this week. I park in an underground garage and the temp is constantly in the high 70s and the ambient outside is almost 100 degrees. I take the car out for lunch and a couple of meetings and park outside. After coming back to the car, the temp indicator is stuck at 79 - after about 2 hours of running errands, it jumps to 102. The same evening, we go to dinner and a movie and the temp is stuck at 102 when I come out at 1045pm when the ambient is in the mid 80's. Anyone else experience this or any ideas on pre diagnosis? I plan to take it to the dealer this week.

Ive found on mine, after being parked undercover, i have to drive a few km's before the temp updates correctly. I put it down to a quirk of the car. My last A Class was the same. I drive the same route home from work each day, and i find the temp updates at exactly the same location each time...

Thanks - they can't replicate it when I took it in - I will drop off the car overnight prior to the post break-in service and have them monitor the sensor to see what happens.

Always the way it is.....can't replicate so sorry, lol. My 43 has done this once, was a hot day but read much cooler and took about a half hour to calibrate properly.
