I asked Distribution on Friday and this is what I was told
GLC63 – Possibility of November, according to the latest estimated launch timeline, as of right now.

I was told mid october some time ago . I have an x5 50i on order and thought if i could see and drive a glc63 that might change my mind. Now i am thinking i may have the bmw before they release the glc. I hope mercedes is monitoring these forums. i have heard from the bmw dealer several x3m40 buyers said they were tired of waiting for the 43.

I feel for you sales guys that are expecting cars for delivery and they keep getting pushed back. From a customer perspective, this is really starting to grind my gears.

Hi Susman,
Does that mean the GLC63's won't be released until after the 43's are released? Could be Dec even?
Thanks,
John

I have the same question. Waiting for my 63. Its not the end of the world, but as I've stated before, on customer orders they need to do a better job of communicating with the customer.

so based on the update that told you 1st week of November for G550, what was the estimate for GLC63? seems to be the best update you have gotten so far.

I went back and looked at the Macan and Stelvio last night.
Macan still way too underpowered and overpriced.
Stelvio is still good but then I will definitely have to do a 2 year lease because there is no historic reliability record.
The release materials for the Porsche taycan hatch is really enticing also. Now that porsche says it would be priced below panamera (although panamera wagon is mid 100s), i might be heading that route in the future.

For me its just a matter of respect. People are trying to make plans and i can not think of any logical reason Mercedes is not keeping its costumers informed. I totally understand the secrecy required for new models.
I am seeing the same thing happening with bmw. Costumers have there new ordered x5s sitting in the back lots of dealers awaiting release from the manufacture.
It seems to me the consumer would be more important to the manufactures if they want to keep brand loyalty.

Just saw your post re:C43 in the C43 forum. Have you been able to determine if the GLC43 is being prepared for release also? Have you had any news on residuals for the GLC43?

I've been lurking here for a while and will throw my hat in the ring. We ordered a 2019 GLC 63 first week of September, at that time we were told it would arrive mid December. I was given vessel information today so we can track it across the pond and was told to expect it at the dealer in Tacoma, WA late November, early December. I'll keep everyone updated on our experience.
BTW, It is shipping on the vessel "Orca Ace", I am sure there are many more GLC 63's on board, first stop Jacksonville Florida.
