I had them installed for about a week now. They feel much better than the summer tires. The ride is much smoother now and the crabbing is completely gone. *fingers crossed.

Anyone ever watch the Macan Turbo S test video I think was on car and driver where they were whipping it on a track in Germany last year? OMG the tires jump crab and hop all over the place on corner exits under power. They had the camera trained on the front wheels and I couldnt believe how bad it was. I went and test drove one and true to form it was rather bad. I never even bothered tell them why I didnt like it. This was first time I ever realkly noticed this and didnt even know what iyt was. Surprised GLC suffers similar issue.

This is Tire issue. Don't use summer tires When cold. Use snow tires when cold. It will not happen again.

Not a tyre issue, tyres just mask it. Mercedes fitting new part to non-amg models which fix's the problem. New Knuckle. Not available for AMG models yet, but have asked my dealer to register that I want the part when it becomes available

Hi,

How did you get on with the tyre change?
I have the GLC63 and am looking to change the tyres because of the juddering. Currently running the Michelin pilot sport 4 in 21" but unsure what to change too.

this is what is being fitted to non AMG models in UK.
I have continental sportcontact 5 BMW spec 21s on. Improved, but still just noticeable at full lock and tyres are new. I'm sure it will get worse. Hopefully Mercedes will produce new part for AMG models soon.

I'm also on the 21's and they are advising the Pireli Scorpion winter tyres but they aren't available in NZ. Gone back to them to see if there is an alternative.
