Also, the screenshot from youtube has a button that neither of us seem to have. The bank of buttons above the headlight switch. From left to right mine is: steering assist, lane keep assist, parking sensors, 360 camera view, blank, blank. The screenshot shows only one blank spot. Maybe the two are linked somehow?

OK. I don’t have HUD. So not related. Still odd. And I don’t see it mentioned in the configurator online.
I wonder if that’s something that the coupes get the the SUV doesn’t.
I was pretty sure the heated steering was standard but i have learned otherwise.

I cannot think of another package that would affect the removal of heated steering.

From what I gather from MB specs is the heated steering wheel does come standard. If you do however upgrade the steering wheel to the flat bottom style (AMG), they do NOT offer heated controls for any of these.
Viper would you happen to have the round steering wheel ?

I was very disappointed to find I do not to have the heated steering wheel. The 2018 specs list it as a standard item, but for 2019 I learned yesterday you have to order the round steering wheel to get heating. Was also disappointed not to be able to get heads up display.

the round bottom steering is not an option for a 63, so we can say it is not available then. it wa very much available and standard in 2018 from the 2018 cars I saw online.

this is looking like the case. Funny they announced the removal of some options like rear sunshade officially but left out something a important as heated steering.
I am strting to feel like ioverpaid for this car now. If i wanted compromises, i would have just leased the Stelvio quad.
Flat bottom AMG wheels do not have heat. That’s across all models. I’ve heard the alcantara wheel gets less cold, but I have the nappa wheel. It’s disappointing but not a deal breaker for me, obviously. The HUD option is a nice to have, I have it, but I read they had supplier issues. You won’t miss it.

2018 GLC63 had heated steering with flat bottom. thi is why i am trying to identify what changed.
The 2018 did not have the option. I have a fully loaded, fully optioned 2018. There was never an option for a heated steering wheel. I even checked with dealer. It may have been a pre production option but they dropped it. Same with cabin fragrance. Pre production option but removed from options when production started. Sorry, you’ll have to give up on the heated steering wheel. You’ll still love ever bit of the car.
~ I opted for the heated steering wheel option on my 43 and it's nice but if I had the choice over the fatty steering wheel... I’d take that amazing 63 steering wheel... 😊

My 2018 has Cabin Fragrance but no heated wheel - it shows up as standard on the MB website but you can't get one.
