2019 or wait for 2020
Hey guys,
Im in the market for a GL63. Im debating about just buying a 2019 off the lot or wait to order a 2020. I cant seem to get a straight answer on when they will be released and based off the history of the 63 relase it does not look like itll be anytime soon. Does anyone have a better time frame for this?

I personally would wait for a 2020 model as it will be updated like the new 2019 C Class, with pretty major interior and exterior updates. The interior alone is worth it to me with a digital dash and updated tech features of COMAND and Apple Car Play/Android Auto combined...a pretty big negative with me and my existing 2018 GLC43. Either way, the 63 is a helluva vehicle!

This is all a guess, but not anytime soon is the best answer...depending on your definition of "anytime soon". That said, MB has in the past stopped MY GLC production in April/May time frame and re-started new MY production in June for usually August purchase/delivery. So, 2018 models stopped production in April/May of this year and 2019 models started production in June of this year with delivery SUPPOSED to be in August-ish. Obviously, we've seen with the 43/63's delivery much past that date due to some EPA or other holdup, with deliveries just recently and some still not having their 2019 vehicles, yet. 63's seem to have been all over the place for production/delivery, unfortunately.

if you are in the market for a car now, buy a 2019. if you are not, wait till 2020. seeing as 20018 models did not get released until April or May this year in the states, you are going to be well in 2020 before you see a GLC63 model refresh released in my opinion. Europeans would get them next year but not US based customers.
