CRABBING! on what tire? did you get replacements?
Just took delivery of my 19 GLC63 on 20" Conti Sport Contact and unfortunately Houston is 50 degrees and even my wife who cannot hear any noises in a car is asking me what's wrong. I have read all the threads so let's identify paths to mitigation.
If you have the issue, please respond.
GLC63 or GLC43?: 63 for me
What tire size/model? : 20" Continental Sport Contact
Has Mercedes Replaced Tire? : No
If yes, size/Model tire :
thanks.

MBWorld Fanatic!
MB replaced my 19 inch wheels and summer tyres with a set of 20 inch wheels and winter tyres but only after I went to the UK motoring ombudsman and only as a "gesture of goodwill". Crabbing has gone.

21" Conti Sport Contact Summers
No, but may ask.
Happens at temps under ~50°. Full lock pretty much all the time and partial lock when very cold.

So when you say "crabbing" you mean the summer compound tires binding in cold weather?

Nice, yea we put those on E63's here... about $1200-1300? its like 30 degrees near DC and I just talked to one of our E63 guys who has the DWS06's and says no binding at all even in this cold weather.. bump up the psi a bit and make sure you get the tpms in there
