Any feedback on if these are ok or if they're one of the tires that have had the crabbing issues/really poor tread wear would be appreciated!

(I realize this is an old message at this point, but hopefully my response will help someone.)

I have the 20" Conti SportContact 6's on my 2018 GLC63. They do indeed suffer from the crabbing issue when making slow tight turns, such as trying to get out of my garage. During regular driving, however, it has not been a problem. The vehicle does not suffer this issue when on its snow tires.

I haven't had the tires long enough to speak about the tread life, but I do know that super-sticky tires such as these rarely have a long lifespan. To be honest part of me is looking forward to the day they need replacing so that I can hopefully get non-crabbing replacements.

My 2020 has these tires on 20" wheels. At low speeds with sharp turns, they do crab... it's really bad below 40°F. I just avoid driving those few cold mornings so I don't feel like the steering knuckle is being popped.

I used to have the Conti on 21 inch wheels . It was Ok at the beginning but got really bad after i put 15k on them ,crabbing noisy ... I switch to Pirelli scorpio all season and no more issues since .

Crabbing and summer tires will always be an issue unless the tires are new or it is warm/hot outside.
