GLC63 vs GLC63S what are the differences?

BTW...I spanked one from a 20-100 romp the other day but man...I love the Q8RS.
And of course tires would make a huge difference. Cup 2s would shave time off for sure.
One thing to keep in mind is that weather plays a big part in these lap records. Manufacturers book the track weeks in advance and some times conditions isn't ideal when the day comes. For example when the AMG GT Black set the production car record part of the track was still damp and the wet line had to be taken on quite a few corners. More times than not all things aren't equal.

Does anyone know if there is a brake size difference between the glc63 suv and glc 63 coupe/ glc63s coupe? i was going to do a carbon retorfit or at minimum probably the red calipers. i can look up the parts if no one knows but wanted to know if anyone had a quick answer.
Also does anyone know if the glc 63 suv has race start (launch control)? I dont necessarily care about race mode although i will activate if possible with coding but i mainly wanted launch control.
I considering jumping from the c43 to this. AWD is a must for me and its unfortunate the c63 doesn't have the 4matic + system.
With 4matic + in glc 63 suv can you put in drift mode? Not that id like to do all the time but to my understanding the 4matic + allows you to make it rwd or awd. is this true?
Thanks! I will hope this will further add to the thread!

Yes, both the 63 and 63S have Race Start. It's a function of the transmission, but the 63 doesn't have Race mode and no, the SUVs don't have drift mode. Center of gravity is too high for such shenanigans. The SUVs are setup much more conservative. The ESP is also much more conservative compared to the sedans and proper coupes.

great. race start is a must. i wonder if the electronic diff in the facelift models works really well with race start, id assume so. does the coupe glc 63 have drift mode? Not that I care that much just would be nice to know. It makes sense that it wouldn't. not like id be drifting in a glc63 or maybe i would? Not sure until i drive it lol. I mainly just want a fast daily driver with awd so its confident in putting power down in all conditions all times of the year here in the north.

The glc63's all have the same brakes/size they come with the front spaced 390mm rotors same as the 213 e63s unless you have the carbon ceramics on the first editions. And yes they do have race start on all but the "race mode" is only on the S models and no drift mode, unfortunate.
