I put my order in on 5/31/2021 for a 2022 GLC 63s Coupe with all of the items you mention. As of this morning my dealer told me he has not been advised by MB yet that any of those items will not be included in the build, which is currently scheduled for production during the first 10 days of October. Not sure what to tell you. My understanding of the ordering process is that you place an order configured as you wish and at some subsequent time, prior to production, if MB can't build the car to your spec they will tell the dealer what will not be included and ask you to sign a waiver. Maybe the parts for my build are already allocated and MB knows they won't have certain parts for builds later in the production year Take everything the dealer tells you with a grain of salt. I am expecting to hear at some point that something will not be available for my build, regardless of what the dealer said today.

what was their reason for not allowing you to option them?
as far as i know, the only thing i couldnt get that i wanted was wireless charging.
didnt mention anything to me about any of the options you mentioned.
i did just send a text to ask

here is my build...

i got rid of my 2019 white glc63 suv for this coupe.

if anyone knows what options i am missing, thatd be dope to know.
illuminated star, chrome handles, performacne seats (bc my wife hates the caarbon buckets in our new m4 lol) and projector i def didnt get. lol

The chip shortage was their explanation. These were my initial configuration options:

You inverted it - mine is 2022, yours is 2021. It's probably because of the factory production line change from 2021 to 2022 models. Honestly, I wouldn't be so firm with the options, considering the V8 is going away after 2022, it's really why I'm buying the car. Not really a fan of what MB did to the C63, the same awaits the GLC63/63S in 2023. There's not much you can do about a lack of options if they are due to the chip shortage except move into a higher price point and maybe MB might prioritize some chips for the higher-end models (ie: GLE) over the GLC.

LOL. typing to fast mixed with thinking too fast.
not that it matters, just curious why so.
where are you located?
but if they did change to those 2022 models, mine would be considered so bc i ordered mine after you. lol
YOU AND I PURCHASED FOR THE SAME REASON.
i am just so picky and after my last glc63 suv not having the options i would have liked (purchased used) i just want my beast to come fully fitted for the next 5 years with me.

FYI : NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW ENGINES. =*(

2006 Infiniti FX45, 2022 BMW M550i (on order)
My dealer called this week and let me know that I should delay my order until the chip issue is resolved. He said I could order now, but the car would not come with some navigation features (traffic, augmented reality), burmester radio, wireless charging, hands free access, dashcam, track pace, etc. Every one of these, except wireless charging, is a standard feature on the 63S SUV. He said Nov - Dec timeframe things should be better.

Mercedes USA just cancelled all V8 AMGs for 2022. 2021 will still be built.

My sales here in Canada said it seems to be the case for Canadian market too. His system shows no order for 63s for 2022 which is unusual.

Pretty sure it's all v8's except for s580. 63's will be back in 2023 but as 4 bangers except for higher line AMG's. It's over. 2021 or bust.

Buy 2020/2021 C63 now, it might just hold its value.

Jokes aside, I would advice start calling other dealers to find 2021 GLC 63S. 2022s won't be built

i've called several. in a best case scenario expect to pay 5k over MSRP. Certain dealers are quoting me 20k over......

GLC 63s Coupe
So this past weekend, I called a few dealers inquiring about purchasing an existing GLC-63S Coupe and one of the dealer mentioned to me that if I had ordered a 2022 model early enough, it may have made it to production for a limit number of vehicles. I contacted my dealer over the weekend and was told today that MB informed them that my car made it to production. So if I were you, I’d contact your respective dealers and double check with them if your order will be cancelled. That being said until I see the actually build code from the factory, I’m 50/50 right now. Good luck.

When did you order that 2022? I ordered a 2022 GLC63s on 5/31/2021. My dealer hasn't advised me yet of the exact disposition of my order, so I'm still hopeful. Just left a message for my dealer this minute! Did you order before me? Thanks.

No, I ordered mine after you about a month ago.

And it actually went into production? Mine was scheduled for production the first 10 days of October, before this debacle. Did your dealer actually say yours was produced? Are you in the USA?

No he didn't confirm it went into production, just what he believes. That's why I said I'm 50/50 -here's what the dealer was sent to me. Yep in the US.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll post relevant information, if any, when I speak with my dealer.

I was informed by the dealer today that my 2022 AMG GLC 63s Coupe order placed on 5/31/2021 will not be built. This is confirmed. Not happy. FWIW, I feel like there is more to this than covid and a chip shortage. Like USA EPA fleet MPG requirements and the fines associated with missing that fleet average.

Good luck, I found a dealer that had one in production and reserved it. It’s scheduled to arrive in November.
