Got a GLC63s, and the brakes have been squeaking, i think it's coming from the rear. The front seem to have plenty of life left but i can't tell about the rear ones but from the pictures look like it's a good amount left. Any of you ran into this and any quick fixes? Planning to go to the dealer since the
car is under warranty. thanks in advance.
Good pads good rotors its the metal in the pads, you gotta brake harder to flatten them a lil bit. Mercedes brakes ironically aren't supposed to be quiet, they use a ton of metal in the pad to slow you down in all weather conditions from the first stop, to track use. Safety is kind of their thing.
Its not a quality thing, metallic pads are just a dependable way to stop cars fast.

Just had squeaking issue fixed on my car. Although rotors are low but pads are good, big build up of dust on assembly definitely makes squeaking more prominent
good waterblast has fixed this immediately.
recommended to do ever week or two especially with daily driver in city traffic

In that case, probably was dust build up, I guess you couild also consider changing to lower dust pads if it starts to really bother.
