Very nice build. It appears that the DOG has been updated and no longer listed as preliminary. Maybe someone will post an update! I checked MB web and still no Configurator.

Gee, you could have gotten the leather dash, Dinamica headliner & 21" wheels and hit $100k! Hope you're getting a discount.

Some changes from the 12/13/18 Preliminary DOG:
  • Looks like DA3 Parking Assistance has come down from $800 to $400
  • DC5 Acoustic Comfort has gone from $1,000 to $1,100
  • DP1 Premium has gone from $1,800 to $1,000, but 810 Burmester Surround Sound System has been take out to a standalone at $850, so that's an increase.
  • D26 Load Sill Protector is $150 as I estimated
  • 293 Rear Side Airbags are $420
  • 581 4-Zone Climate Control has gone from $760 to $860

  • DP1 Premium has gone from $1,800 to $1,850

Thats interesting that it’s still listed as Preliminary but pricing prints. When I ordered the options all printed but without prices. COME ON Mercedes...we have been patient so give us some “meat and potatoes”. Thanks for the update Greg! My price went up also but my low 80’s looks frugal compared to Joe and Rocketman builds. Could they be phasing this in by Region? The Georgia Dealer has the protector in the system but not Oregon?
Edit-I missed the update for accessories prices.

Greg-I have one item on my order not listed on the DOG. It's Stand-alone option 902 Rapid Heating Seats at $550. I was able to order 902 instead of DBO pkg that also includes heated armrests. The DOG shows 902 as an option but no price-unless I missed it.

Greg - I noted on your Feb 12 spreadsheet (today's) that you have the leather dashboard and beltline at tbd and the MBTex at $700. On my previous spreadsheet, it had the MBTex at $450 and the leather at $700. There may have even been a discussion about it (I haven't gone back to look and I'm having a senior moment), and I may have even been a part of it. Has the situation reverted to tbd for the leather again, do you know? Thanks.

Hmmmm.......I see in the latest DOG that it is listed as $700 for both. Wonder when that'll change?

I don't see 902 listed as a stand alone option, only as part of DB0. I have added it to the spreadsheet, though.

Something is not right with the leather price. Previously MB-Tex was listed at $450. The 12/13/18 DOG it went up to $700 and was the same price as leather, which is still the case. I am taking $700 as the real price for MB-Tex, because that is on Rocketman's build sheet he just posted. Leather has got to be substantially more.

Hey Greg,

I noticed that the standard accessory states 93 Litres tank which is 24.5 gallons but the GLE brochure you attached months back states 22.5 gallons tank. Any confirmation on this? WOuld be nice to have a bigger tank and getting good cruising range with the GLE450.

The Daimler press release lists the tank capacity at 85L (22.5G) + a 9L (2.4G) reserve. I think that is the explanation; the total capacity is in the 93-94 liter range.

Here’s the only place I saw it in the DOG but it came up on Netstar with pricing....

399 Active Multicontour Front Seats with Massage Feature Not with AMG Line Interior (P29)
Requires Ventilated Front Seats (401)
Requires Rapid Heating Seats (902) or Warmth and Comfort Pkg (DB0PKG)
Requires Upholstery Leather (200A) or Nappa Leather

I just got an update on my order and 902 Rapid heated seats is now $450 down from $550. Mine also has $700 for UB9 MB Tex dash.
Let’s hope the final Dog comes out soon. Most prices keep going up!

Just and educated guess, I don't expect the final DOG until dealer launch or near there.

Updated build

Here's my updated order sheet. The Load Sill Protector is not listed for some reason. I got the rear side air bags by mistake - I inquired about price and they were added and order locked before I could remove them.

The car can be raised with a button or when I select the offroad in the dynamic select. Is anyone familiar with something like this or maybe I understood him wrongly.
Here is an explanation of the non E-ABC Air Suspension that includes ADS Plus as part of the package!

AIRMATIC package.
In combination with the ADS PLUS Adaptive Damping System, the air suspension delivers excellent road roar and tyre vibration characteristics and outstanding driving dynamics to the road or the track. The damping at each wheel is adapted to the current driving situation and road surface condition. The fully variable, gradually adjustable, adaptive damping system effectively counteracts rolling and pitching movements when cornering or braking. The roll angle when cornering can be compensated for to even better effect in conjunction with the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM (468). Use the "Comfort" and "Sport" setting to choose between a more comfortable or a sportier AIRMATIC Package configuration. The pneumatic all-round self-levelling system ensures a constant vehicle level irrespective of the load. In "Sport" drive mode the vehicle is lowered by -15 mm and in "Sport+" it is lowered by -25 mm. In "Comfort" driving mode the vehicle automatically lowers to sport level (-15 mm) from speeds of 80 km/h. This brings about elements including a less drag and it further boosts the vehicle's stability.
Edit: I think the road roar tire characteristics is a way of saying that there will be less noise and vibration transmitted through the suspension.

Active Curve is offered as an option on the current W166 (I have it on my '12, and it's $2,910 on '19 GLE 400), but it's not available on the V167.

Wouldn’t E-ABC be the replacement for Active Curve. More active with a slight price increase.😁

Yes, but more than a slight price increase. Active Curve is only active roll control - E-ABC obviously does much more. Would be nice if there was still that middle-of-the-road (so to speak) option for those not wanting the huge outlay or complexity.

Awesome about the rear side airbags why it is a mistake? got more safety anyway.
