I do like Mojave silver though, not sure what everybody else thinks about that as the exterior color. I saw a new A class in the same color, looked good.
Thanks Joe! In that light the Gray didn't look good to me, too light. Hoping it looks better but it is what it is.

Bright light can make colors look washed out. The color should be the same as the A class so I'm encouraged if you liked the A. I saw the Brown and it's definitely darker, richer color than what I see in the film. I love the Brown! Fingers crossed......
450 AMG ext-pkg, real functional exhaust with Burmester 3d

I can’t understand how the connection of the 450 AMG ext-pkg with real exhaust is connected to the high end Burmester 3D.
i want both a nice looking sporty car with a nice i6 sound and inside audiophile system.
Anyone have connection to get an answer of this dilemma...

I feel your pain, I also wanted the Burmester 3D system but no go. I haven’t read anything definitive as to why we can’t order both.

I wrangled with this issue with the dealer and MBUSA, with MBUSA telling me it is what it is and no way around it. I made the the same arguments as you, but ultimately had to make the compromise: I went with the 3D system with NO AMG exterior package. I am making the best of it by adding the R77 wheels and roof spoiler to try to give me a little something extra over the base appearance package, and instead of ordering in white with the AMG exterior line, I ordered selenite, to mitigate the impact of the plastic around the wheel wells, which I hate. Also don't like the front of the base package, but it is what it is. Some have made the argument that the 3D system isn't that much more special over the $850 Burmester system; that the extra power is just for all the extra little speakers. Maybe a little better on the low end with the added subs, but otherwise, not worth the delta in price. However, I did what I did and my order is locked now. That being said, in true MB fashion, I'm sure that for the next MY one will be able to order both together.
You may want to check with your dealer or corporate MB. Assuming your are in Stockholm, Europe/UK and rest of world (ROW) ordering and option packages vary, sometimes greatly, from US configurations, and may not be mutually excluded for you.

I feel sorry for the engineer that thought an audiophile needs artificial engine sound inside.
I just want excellent sound inside and the engine it self produces a nice i6 sound on the outside!
In Sweden we can order the AMG-pkg because the sporty sound functional exhaust is not included in the AMG-pkg. Still hate to have a nice 3litre i6 and plastic fake exhaust...
I really hope they change their mind and just exclude the silly artificial engine sound... and give the customer the perfect combo!

Yes, but why? You get real functional exhaust that sounds awesome, heard it in a German YouTube video review were they tested different settings...

Well my new GLE is on rail and should be arriving in Toronto within a few days I am guessing. Just working through pricing and all they will give me is a 2% discount. What are you guys getting? Residual on 36 month lease is good at 60%. Freight and PDI have jumped $600 to $2,695.

Yes, I test drove a 450 with the AMG Line Exterior. The inline six is snappy and sounds pretty good in Sport mode (don't recall a Sport+ mode). I also test drove a 350 and that engine is competent but the I6 is the right choice if you want added HP for getting it up to speed.

That's exciting you are getting yours. I can't comment on the discount, they seem to vary from 0 to one posted his order showing a 7% discount. I think it's best to clarify price before ordering to get the best deal.
In the US the freight is listed on the Sticker and also the Configurator. We pay freight of just under a grand and no PDI fees. Doc fees vary but are generally $300-$400 and as high as $600 in my region.

Not in UK, only one model has 5 seats and you cannot order the power second row seats with it, all the other models have 7 seats as standard with electric adjustment.

I am also skeptical of that - believe I read somewhere it would NOT have artificially-enhanced sound.
Joe, you posted a photo a while ago of the underside of the AMG Line exhaust and I asked if you could get a wider view of that shot to see if there was a valve in the 2nd pipe.
Hey so our GLE went into production this weekend and is finished end of March. How long do you think it will take to get it to southeast Michigan? Our 2015 X5d lease is up March 24 and we cannot extend it any longer but may need to rent a car for a few weeks.
