WoW there's a GLE 580 coming?!?!?!

I’m still suspicious about the date. It’s apparently correct as announced but.... Did they make the date so far out to help move the current Gen! If people thought it was coming out later this year would they wait for the next Gen? I can’t think of any reason to announce almost 2 years ahead so am creating a conspiracy theory, ha ha. I’m probably wrong but it’s one possibility.
Another is that they could be having trouble getting the Mapping right for the combo of Twin Turbo and electric Turbo. Or maybe they just wanted to silence the rumors! If I were betting money, I would bet that they will show 6-12 months sooner.

If that is their official response we should see something next month at NYC then. So they're going to do a GLE with a V8 that isn't an AMG after all?!?!?! WOW. Mercedes is all over the place and @fabbrisd1 may be onto something. Completely shocked. The 580 badge was previously used in Asian markets I believe and if this all pans out it may be the replacement for all the "560" cars. BMW is at 523hp now in the 750i for 2020 so expect Mercedes to be at 500hp at least in the next generation/580 badged models.

I wonder why the GLE 53 has been so lack of appearence since internet debut,I believed there was even no GLE 53(regular model) on display at IAA...and one thing more,the media are first driving the GLE 53 Coupe now,but no regular one...weird.

Ok well this is odd but my 450 has the Turbo badges on the side I just realized they should only be on the AMGs does anyone else have those?

Second he said his 450 has the turbo badges.
So either he has a 2016 GLE 450 or he has a 2020 GLE 450 and some in Alabama goofed up and put the turbo badge on it
